He freed himself from the restraints of time and ascended above this mortal world. His body remained exactly where he had left it. He could see it from afar, its image clear, albeit intangible.

All objects lost their shape and yet he could still make sense of them. It was as if he could decipher the cosmic code that contained everything that had ever existed and was yet to appear, all at once, all in an instant.

His physical self was only an obstacle. It was obsolete because a second of his mortal time lasted infinitely. There was no life, no death, no misery or disease. It was a pure stream of ceaseless energy that flew through the void of nothingness like a river with no beginning and no end. And that stream was everything that was, while everything else was everything that wasn’t. There was nothing in-between. 

An entire lifetime could be experienced in its full briefness...All lifetimes could be experienced simultaneously, for all was one and one was all.
