Error continued talking about who he was in love with excitedly, making sure to keep his volume to a minimum, since he now he had other people in the castle to worry about. Though, he felt as if who he was describing was a little too obvious. It wasn't hard to distinguish them from the rest of the Sanses out there. You only had to think about it a little.

"He's very nice, and makes the best desserts!"

Nightmare, on the other side of the speaker, started to wonder. It was a Sans, as stated by E, but as he kept describing him, he was starting to get a good idea of which Sans it was.

"Does the person you're talking about happen to be Blue, the Star Sans member?"

A pause. He heard E sigh in defeat, "was I that obvious?"

Nightmare grinned. "That little Blueberry? Really???"

"He prefers Blue, by the way. And yes, he's adorable," EL gritted out.

"Yeah, adorable, and childish. If I were you, I'd almost feel like a pedo." Nightmare expected E to laugh, but he did virtually the opposite.

Nightmare could feel the negativity coming from E through the phone as he blew up at him, "well, if you actually paid attention to him, you'd know that he is actually just as mature as the rest of us. He's a grown man like every other Sans, yet just because he's supposed to be like a Papyrus, you all suddenly treat him like a baby, and never bother to see him as otherwise!"

Error covered his mouth, realizing his mistake. He raised his voice way too loud in that little outburst defending Blue. He prayed no one heard him.

Nightmare blinked. He could've sworn EL was echoing or something, because he heard everything being said twice. It wouldn't be the first time. He then remembered Killer saying he had an 'old man phone', scoffing to himself. He had an iPhone7, Killer, for your information.

He decided to drop the topic, noticing how upset EL seemed to be, apologizing gently.

"It's okay," EL responded, very quiet, "I know you didn't mean anything by it. Sorry for blowing up at you."

After a few more minutes of talking, they hung up, and Nightmare found he couldn't sleep. Again. He was worried he now had insomnia, and by classification, he probably does.

    Damn it.

So, he did what he usually does when this happens, teleporting to the garden next to the grand piano, and next to the bush he used to hide his violin. Not like any of the idiots come out here to enjoy the outdoors anyway.

Little did he know, that one idiot in particular did come outside, but it wasn't to enjoy the outdoors.

Cross watched as Nightmare started waltzing to the melody of a new tune, all while concentrating on his violin. He was perfect. No, he was more than perfect.

Cross came out here to confess his feelings, but now, he was having second thoughts. Despite what everyone else thinks, Nightmare is one of the greatest skeletons he's ever had the pleasure of meeting. He loved everything he did. How elegant he was, how sweet he could be, and how tough and murderous he often was. Everything, from what he was good at and what he wasn't so good at, it was all perfect in Cross' eye sockets. He knew that he could always be at Nightmare's side as his right hand, working under him as part of the Dark Sanses, but it wasn't enough for Cross to be fulfilled.

He wanted to love him, and for Nightmare to love him back. To share sweet and sour moments, and memories together. He wanted to start a family, even, someday...
