Sheriff Shend was relieved.

"Of all the  improbable weirdness in my life, never have I seen evidence of Jason Voorhees sticking his foot in it...literally!", he opened the trap.

Then, once Jason Voorhees's body was photographed, tagged and bagged, more yellow CRIME SCENE tape was erected around the cabin, as Karen, who was dressed in a red colored robe and red colored slippers, asked:

        "What happened Lewis?".

"Jason Voorhees attempted to kill us. But he put his right feet in the trap. And I called the Sheriff" Lewis answered.

         "OMG!" Karen shouted.

"Don't worry Mrs. Gandel. By the end of this Friday the 13th, noone will have to deal with the Camp of Legend's most famed killer", Sheriff Shend said, "now, I need to take him to the Crystal Lake Morgue. I'll post some Officers here overnight as a security measure. And, lastly, thank you Mr. Gandel and Mrs. Gandel for preventing another massacre" Sheriff Shend smiled.

Lewis and Karen watched him, and his two Deputies, leave in their Police cars.

And then the couple grabbed the rifle.

Lewis wrapped his arms around Karen, and they headed inside the cabin front door, locked it, as well as the back door, and the horror was over.
