I left them and went to sit as close to the Isle as I could. I know they mean well but I want to be back on the Isle. Maybe I can try and teleport there like I did the first time. I made my eyes glow and decided to test to see if my magic worked after all this time. I lifted a rock up and throw it with my magic as far as I could. Good I still have magic. I decided to try and see just how far my teleporting can bring me. At first it is only a few feet. I am determined to get back to Carlos, so I keep trying each time I got a little farther. After about 5 times of trying I start to get dizzy. I didn't care so I keep trying then I fell to the ground and blacked out. When I woke up again. I was in my room hearing voices.
"Why would she do this?" I heard mom ask.
"We think she was trying to get back to the Isle of the Lost," I heard Aunt Belle say.
"Why would she want to go back there?" I heard dad ask.
"Because it is my home," I said as I started to try and sit up.
"Dear one. Take it easy. You were out for a week. You used a lot of magic," Fairy Godmother said.
"Just let me go back home," I said. Ben helped me sit up.
"Sweetie you are home," mom said.
"No, I am not," I said. "The Isle is my home. Carlos, Mal, Evie, and Jay are my family I need to be there for them."
"Lillian we are your family too. You have no idea how hard it has been on everyone," Nick said.
"Hard on you guys? Try hard on me. I got teleported somewhere I didn't know with no memory. All I remembered was my name and that I had powers. I was lucky to run into someone who didn't want to hurt me. Then I just happened to find another one who turned into my best friend. So, forgive me if I don't seem to care about what you guys went through while I was gone. I am going for a walk. Ben, I promise I won't try and teleport without you there," I said as I got up and left.
I walked back to the spot near the Isle and sat down. I don't seem to care about my family anymore. I seem to be able to slowly trust Ben. I don't know what to do. I need Carlos. I need his advice on what I should do.
"Lily we will find a way to get them here," Ben said as he sat down next to me.
"Thanks Ben. I know you will," I said.
"I didn't know it was so bad on the Isle," Ben said.
"It is not bad if you find the right people and I did."
"Tell me about them if you don't mind."
"Mal is the one that found me."
"She doesn't happen to have purple hair, does she?"
"She does how do you know?"
"Don't freak out but I have been having dreams about a girl on the Isle with purple hair."
"That is not as weird as you think Ben."
"How so?"
"I had dreams about Carlos before I meet him. After we became close, I told him. Turns out he was having dreams about me too."
"Wow I guess it isn't as weird as I thought," Ben said as he smiled. I laughed. "It is good to see you smile."
"It is just hard Ben. I don't know how to do this. I keep thinking I wish Carlos was here so I can talk to him," I said as I started to cry.
"Lily I will help you get through this. I will be here until we can get him here."
"Ben thank you. I really care about him a lot," I said as I hugged Ben.
"Lily do you like him?" Ben asked as we broke apart.
"I may have a little crush on him. But he is my best friend. I didn't tell him because I didn't want to lose what we had. But now that we are apart, I wish I did tell him."
"He will be here before you know it and you can tell him," Ben said.
We walked back into the castle. My parents and Nick were gone.
"Where are mom, dad, and Nick?" I asked Aunt Belle and Uncle Adam.
"They left they figured you needed some time," Uncle Adam said.
"They also agreed that it would be best if you stayed here," Aunt Belle said.
"They did. I surprised they said yes," I said shocked.
"They did but there are two conditions," Uncle Adam said.
"Of course. They are?" I asked.
"That you come visit every so often. And you take a goodness class from Fairy Godmother," Uncle Adam said.
"That doesn't seem so bad," Ben said.
"Why a goodness class?" I asked.
"We are worried about how you will act," Uncle Adam said.
"Because I was raised by villains for two years?" I asked getting mad.
"No honey. You do not know how to act here anymore. We are not blaming you for how you were raised over there," Aunt Belle.
"Instead you are blaming the villains and their kids," I said.
"Lily we just want what is best for you," Aunt Belle said.
"Lils they are worried since you are acting a little different. I am worried about it a little too. I don't want people to find out about your powers because you are getting mad at everyone," Ben said trying to calm me down.
"I understand Ben. I do it is just I changed for a reason," I said.
"I know why Lily. You had to change to fit it. I understand that. I will go to the classes with you. I can always learn more too," Ben said.
"We are not asking you to change who you are," Uncle Adam said.
"We still love you. Even changed to who you had to become. We only ask that you try," Aunt Belle said.
"I will try but it won't happen overnight," I said.
"We know that. We just want you to try your hardest," Uncle Adam said.
"Okay then I will try," I said.
