Next thing I know it was morning and I was laying on Carlos' chest. Man did I miss this as I started to blush. He would always do this when I got scared or hurt. I look over and Jay had already left. I guess for breakfast.
"Morning Lils," I heard Carlos' say.
"I didn't wake you, did I?" I put my head up, so I was looking at Carlos.
"No, I was already waking up."
"I missed you a lot. It has been hard adjusting to life here without you."
"I know I missed you too. I am not going anywhere anytime soon. How are you feeling?"
"Much better," I said as I got up. I grabbed some clothes and went to their bathroom to change. "I am going to breakfast if you want to join me." I said when I came out ready for the day.
"Sure. Let me get dressed first," Carlos said as he went to get ready. When he was done, we walked to the cafeteria where we meet up with Mal, Evie, and Jay.
"Hey guys found your way here alright?" I asked as Carlos and I sat down with our food.
"Just followed the crowd," Mal said.
"What is your first class?" I asked.
"Remedial Goodness 101," Evie said.
"That class isn't hard. Just very annoying," I said.
"You had to take it?" Jay asked.
"Yea one of the conditions of staying in Auradon before I started classes here," I said.
"You had conditions to stay here?" Carlos asked.
"For my parents to be okay with me staying. It was taking that class and visit whenever I felt up to it. I don't visit often more times than often my parents come here," I said.
"That doesn't seem right for them to have conditions," Mal said.
"It seems every time I turn around there is another condition. Ben had one to have you guys come over. It was more of a request really," I said.
"What was it?" Evie asked.
"That when he became king that I would be his advisor. I would be his final say so on any major decisions," I said.
"That seems like a big favor," Jay said.
"Ben told me he wanted me because I knew Auradon and I lived on the Isle, so I knew the Isle too. He wanted me because I could help him improve the Isle once he became king," I said.
"What did you say?" Evie asked.
"I agreed. He sounded like he didn't want anyone but me. He also said that he would bring you guys over even if I said no. So, there was no pressure to say yes. But I want to make a difference in the lives of VKs," I said.
"Lily that is amazing that you want to help the VKs and the Isle," Carlos said as he hugged me.
"Thanks. Here let me show you where your class is. It is on the way since I need to meet up with Ben," I said getting up. The VKs nodded and followed me.
When I was walking to meet up with Ben I ran into Jane.
"Hey Lily. Could you do me a favor?" Jane asked me.
"Sure Jane. What is it?" I asked her.
"I have to get my mom to sign off on these papers could you come with me?" Jane asked.
"Sure, where to?" I asked.
"She is teaching remedial goodness right now," Jane told me as we walked to the class. When we walked in, I went with Jane as she went to the front. Carlos smiled at me. I smiled back.
"Oh. Hello, dear ones," Fairy Godmother said.
"You need to sign off on the early dismissal form for the coronation," Jane said handing the paper to her mom.
"Sure, dear. Everyone here remembers my daughter, Jane and princess Lily?" Fairy Godmother said.
"Mom, no!" Jane said.
"It's okay. Jane this is everyone," Fairy Godmother said.
"Hi. That's okay, don't mind me. As you were," Jane said as she left. I started to leave but Fairy Godmother called me back.
"Lily maybe you should stay for the rest of the class," Fairy Godmother said. I rolled me eyes but in my sweetest voice said, "Sure." Carlos pulled a chair in between him and Jay. I pulled out my sketchbook and started to draw.
"Ahem. Let's continue. You find a vial of poison. Do you, A, put it in the king's wine? B, paint it on an apple? Or C, turn it over to the proper authorities?" Fairy Godmother asked. Jay and Carlos were fighting over who got to answer the question.
"Oh! Ooh... get off," Carlos said.
"Jay?" Fairy Godmother asked.
"C. Turn it over to the proper authorities," Jay answered.
"I was gonna say that," Carlos said.
"But I said it first. Come here!" Jay said. Then Carlos and Jay were wrestling on the table.
"Guys really?" I said.
"Boys. Boys! I am gonna encourage you to use that energy on the tourney field. Lily can you show them where it is?" Fairy Godmother asked me.
"Oh no. That's okay. Whatever that is, we'll...We'll pass," Carlos said.
"Sure, come on you two," I said as I picked up my stuff walking out of the classroom with Jay and Carlos next to me.
