Keith's P.O.V.

After Naida said Lance was a space flirt, we were all trying so hard not to laugh. We failed miserably.

Naida sure has a sense of humor. I thought with a small smile. It fades quickly. I looked at Naida and her eyes locked with mine. My heart began to beat faster.

I shook my head, What's wrong with me? I barely even know her.....so why do I feel like this?

"Uh, Keith? Hello? Keith!"

Huh, what?" I snapped out of my thoughts and saw Coran doing what looked like a chicken trying to do the orange justice.

He was probably trying to get my attention.

"Didn't you here what the princess said?" Coran asked.

"Sorry, no. I was lost in thought."

"*Sigh* Allura said that you paladins needed to continue training. Especially if  we come across another galra fleet that large. The others are already heading to their lions, including Naida."

"Wait, she's training with us?" I asked, a little surprised.

"Don't worry. If she tries to kill you or anything close to that, we'll have the castle defenses ready for action." Coran assured me while twirling his mustache. I suited up and went to my lion.

"Hey Red. You ready to train?"

Red growled in response.

"I'll take that as a 'no but does it look like I have a choice'." I chuckled.

I flew out of the hanger and met up with the rest of the team in front of the castle.

"So what's the first training exercise?" Naida asked.

Suddenly, Allura randomly turned on our virtual reality simulator training thingermawhatsit. The castle became a galra cruiser and began shooting virtual lasers at us. We all flew to our positions. We’d done this before. We knew the drill.

But then Naida flew in front of all of us, firing her lion’s blasters like there was no tomorrow. “I knew I couldn’t trust you!” She yelled. There was anger and fear shaking in her voice.

“Naida! Stop! You’ll hit the castle!” Hunk yelled.

“I don’t care about your stupid base! I can watch it burn along with all the rest of you for all I care!”

A dark aura began surrounding the silver lion. Its eyes glowed dark purple and it began preparing another attack.

Suddenly, some kind of feeling overtook me. A feeling I hadn’t felt before.

I pushed my lion’s thrusters at full blast and rammed into the silver lion, knocking it out of aim and saving the castle.

“Allura!” I yelled. “Turn off the the simulator!”

Allura turned off the simulator and we could see the castle again. It had taken heavy damage and the particle barrier was down.

Lance was obviously triggered by what had just happened. “Naida, what the heck was that?!”

Nadia’s voice was shaking. “I don’t know what overcame me...all I saw was the galra cruiser, and my only thoughts were the memories of being a prisoner...I guess I panicked.”

“Darn right you panicked!” Lance yelled. “And look where that got us! Do you see the castle?!”

“Lance, stop it,” Shiro said.

Naida sounded near tears. “I’m sorry. I...I really am.”

Allura’s voice came softly through our radios. “Maybe we should stop training for today.”
