I'll Never Give Up Hope

(Blake's POV)

At the Salvatore School at the end of the year means a lot of different things to different people. For some it's reunions. To others it means goodbye. Summer is a time to set out for new adventures, see the world to grow in ways you never imagined. Everyone moves on. Except the ones who have nowhere to go the ones like me. My name is Blake Mikaelson and this is my story. I've been having these dreams. Like this girl I don't know who she is but she's always there. It's probably nothing. I don't tell Dr.Saltzman cause I don't want him to worry about me. I mean he has always been worried about me but this time is different? Like maybe someone told him to look after me. But who?

(Josie's POV)

"Mom didn't tell you anything about this?" I asked Lizzie

"Only that it's called an Ascendant. And you and I made it with Aunt Bonnie when we were five" Lizzie said

"Does it have anything to do with the Merge?" I asked.

"I don't know. She's being cagey about it. I" Lizzie said before she disappeared

I fix the thing

"Sorry mom almost busted me" Lizzie said

"You know we can Face Chat like normal people" I said getting up.

"We aren't normal. And we need to keep our magic sharp over the summer" Lizzie said

"How's therapy going?" I asked

"Fine. There is this Swedish guy whose session after me on Tuesdays. I think he's Swedish. Maybe Polish. Anyways doesn't matter. He is hot and crazy and the language barrier will make it impossible for us to communicate. Just how I like it" Lizzie said

"You should really work on that" I said

"I'll add it to the list of broken pieces to glue back together. What about you? How is Bosie doing?" Lizzie asked.

"I'm guessing thats Blake's and I's name. And we are fine. Actually I have some news. But I don;t know if I should tell you yet" I said

"What's up? You know I'm here for you" Lizzie said.

"I know you are. It's just really big news. And I'm not even sure I'm going to share it with Blake" I said kind of freaking out.

"Woah chill Jo. It's not like your pregnant" She said laughing then the laughter dies down when she sees I wasn't laughing. "Oh My God you're pregnant?!" She said yelling

"Shhh.....would you be quite and two I don't know. I mean I haven't had my period in a month" I said.

"Well did you take a test? Did you go to the doctor? Did you do anything other than take Blake's dick?" Lizzie said

"Ok now you need to chill Liz. I might just be late for my period. So I'm going to wait, but I have been getting morning sickness" I said.

"Have you had any fun?" Lizzie asked.

"Well Blake has been with Raf mostly. Probably because Raf's his Beta but still it's like unhealthy" I said.

"So ditch it all and come to Europe. If you are pregant you will have mom instead of dad. And mom is much more understanding" Lizzie said

"I can't. I don't want to leave dad alone. I'm honestly kind of worried he's going to go out and buy a tiny red car" I said

"I thought we were taking strides to be less codependent" Lizzie said

"We are. But there's codependency and then theres leaving dad with his alarming mustache growth" I said

"Oh gross" Lizzie said
