"Given our recent influx of monsters. The Sheriff and I have decided that we need to take drastic action. Please give him your full attention" Ric said. I am sitting next to the wolves. "Like Dr.Saltzman was saying locals Dana Lilien and Sasha Stoteraux didn't come home last night. Dana sometimes skips town for a few days to party, but this is a first for Sasha" Matt said. "Thank you Sheriff Donovan. Now while the knife is away with Dorian and things are quite on his end, it won't hurt to assume the worst. If Dana and Sasha......" I just look over at Josie. "Mate!" Alex screams in my head. "Alex don't. Now's not the time" I said in my head. "Is mate mad at us? Did we do something bad?" Alex asked getting anxious. "Alex enough. She's not mad. Just relax dude" I said to him.

"Now I'll need a few of you to volunteer to go to Mystic Falls High under the guise of an exchange program meant to improve relations between our schools, which, unfortunately is necessary given recent events. Now I give you permission to compel them to gather material for locator spells because any information we can get will make all the difference" Ric said. Lizzie stands up. "Well, I guess I can set aside my differences with Dana for a day because that is what heroes do" Lizzie said. I just sit in my chair. "I volunteer as tribute" She also said. "Dude what's up with her?" Jed said. "Honestly, I don't know. I don't really care about her. I care about her sister" I said. My sister stands up when they ask for people.

After the meeting. "Hey Josie! Wait up" I said running to her. "Hi Blake. What's up?" She asked. "I just wanted to make sure we are cool. I mean we haven't really talked since that gargoyle came" I said. "Yeah I know I'm sorry about that just alot of stuff have been going on" Josie said. "Like your sister..." I said. "Yeah" She looks down. "Well how about lunch? Me and you?" I asked. "Yeah sounds great" She smiles at me. "Hug?" I asked. She gives me a hug. "See you at lunch Blake" She said then walked away.

I am reading stuff when Rafael comes over, he sits in Blake's spot. He's not going to be happy. "You know, the wolves usually eat outside" I said to Rafael. "I'd rather hang with you" He said. I just look at him for a few seconds then I see Blake. He's eyes turn. Oh god. I probably should tell Rafael. "I didn't see you at the assembly" I said trying to ease the tension. "Kind of still figuring out my way around this place. Why didn't you ditch like Landon and go play detective?" He asked me. I try to come up with something because Blake keeps getting closer. "Well I'm actually working on offensive spells for class. They only teach defensive magic here, but I personally think the curriculum needs to evolve. What?" I asked. "Oh nothing" He said. "What?" I said again smiling a little. "I'm still trying to wrap my head around this being a normal conversation here" We both laugh. "Got it. So...meaning you're happy to be back?" I asked. "I'll be happy once I know Landon can stay" He said. "And then what if he can't?" I asked.

Jed and Blake comes over. Blake looks like he can rip Rafael's head off. "Bounce witch, Rafael and I need a little chat" Jed said, Blake is just looking at Rafael. I take Blake's hand and hold it. He looks at our hands and smiles but still looks at Rafael. "As soon as Josie and I are done" Rafael said. I can feel Blake's hand get tighter on mine. Like I'm he's or something. "Actually newb I'm your beta so you listen to me after the alpha" Jed said. "And who's the alpha" Rafael said. "Me" Blake said and I can feel him start to tense. "Blake.... Can you take me to class?" I asked trying to get him away from danger. "Yeah sure" Blake said taking my books.

We start walking to my class. "So....." Blake tries to start a conversation. "Don't. Don't make it awkward" I say facing him. "I'm not the one who stopped talking Jo" Blake says and I feel really bad. "I.....didn't mean that Josie. I just......you haven't talked to me in days, you, my sister, and Jed are my only real friends in this place. I don't want to lose you" He said holding me close. Ow that hurt. I just got friend zone. If he sees me like that fine. "Yeah I don't want to lose you either" I say giving him a hug. "Ill see you around" He said. "See you" I said and go to class.
