(Blake's POV)
I am currently in Dr.Saltzman office with Josie. She wanted me there. And I can't say no to her. I got to work on that
Lizzie is freezing the hourglass. Then it unfreezes by itself and continues to whirl in the glass.
"Ok, that's enough. We're trying to stop it from exploding, not speed up the process" Dr.Saltzman said. He sighs deeply. "We have tried 12 different spells. This is...not a problem magic can fix" He said
"Well it's better than your solution of covering it in concrete and dropping it in the ocean" Lizzie said
"Maybe I deserve the black magic to just boomerang back to me" Josie said standing up but then sitting in a chair
"Jo don't think that alright. We will figure this out" I said rubbing her shoulders
"Just cut yourself some slack, ok? You made a mistake" Dr.Saltzman said
"Wait. What if we tried Dad's idea but better? Instead of dropping the discount lava lamp in the ocean. We drop it in a place where magic can't escape. The prison world" Lizzie said
"Absolutely not" He said
"No this is perfect. There's a celestial event tonight. A meteor shower and that is what we need to make the ascendant work, right?" Lizzie asked
"Yeah that and Bennett blood" Josie said getting up from the chair
"No. I said no! I will figure this out. Ok? Don't do anything while I'm gone" Dr.Saltzman said to his daughters. Then he leaves.
I take a seat on a chair. "It's bad enough, that Sebastian ghosted me. But now dad's acting like an annoying control freak" Lizzie said
"I wouldn't say that about your dad" I said. She gives me a glare. I back down
"He's not gonna let us anywhere near that prison world with our psychotic Uncle Kai" Josie said crossing her arms
"Then what if we send it to a different one? Make a new ascendant and a new prison world with no homicidal uncles" Lizzie said
"Uh guys. I wouldn't go against your father" I said
Josie gives me a hard glare then turns back to Lizzie. "It's gonna take a lot of magic" Josie said
"We did it when we were five" Lizzie said
"With Aunt Bonnie. I mean we can't do this alone" Josie said
"Then I'll find someone. How hard could it be?" Lizzie said then walked out
Josie comes over and sits on my lap. She plays with my hair. "Would you love me even if I did something bad?" She asked me
"Well it depends on how bad we are talking about" I said
"That vision or whatever it was. It showed the school burning. And my eyes were like gone. It was all black" She said
"Jo, you have so many people wanting to help you. And we will find a way to get rid of this. Then we can focus on us and our babies" I said kissing her head
"You missed" She said then grabbed my shirt and pulled me in closer to her lips. I close my eyes waiting for the impact but it doesn't come.
"What are you doing?"I asked her
"I want to kiss you so bad. At the same time I'm mad at you" She said against my lips
I pull away. "Mad? Why the hell are you mad?" I asked standing up from the chair
