Cio: Fujika Onee-sama, what if he loves me?

[Fujika glanced at Cio. Se tied her hair to a bun]

Fujika: We been through this for so many times, Cio. Men don't care about us. We, prostitutes only matters at night. He may always will makes you feel special but will leave you the end.

Minami: The pain we suffer is always as painful as death. Nothing can cure it, not even time. So it's best the things as it is.

She lowered her head, feeling shame.
She shouldn't have mentioned this. She knew about Fujika's past and it brought pain in her heart that because of her the pain she was immensely trying to forget, is being remembered again.

It was her fault and she does not want that.

On the following week, Cio became distant around the man. Cio stopped accepting gifts from him, creating excused she knew wouldn't make sense. She was sure Benjamin noticed too, but she can't risk it.

The pain, was the only thing that kept repeating in her head. It was the only thing that stopping her ,and she lets it.

A month had pass and Benjamin finally had enough. He confronted her and Cio cried, telling him her worries. They talked until the night, fixing every problem as they could.

Finally, Benjmain looked at her, directly, in the eyes. With a voice of promise, he qouted:

Benjamin: I'll prove it to you. Let us live together, let me take care of you.

Cio wailed, eyes brimmed with tears.

She hugged the man.

As the night falls, Benjamin comforted her to sleep.
