Bleeding

That feeling when you're  alone

Laying on the floor

Bleeding

Just bleeding

And your tears are flooding

You're  alone

It feels like everyone is gone

Though your family is on the other side of the wall

And your friends  say they'll  never leave

Still you lay there

Bleeding

Just bleeding

You get tired of feeling  numb

You get tired of not sleeping

So instead you start to bleed

Just bleed

It feels good

Just that little bit of pain

So you do it again

You drag the razor across your skin

And you see that you're  bleeding

Slowly in spots and rapidly  in others

You forget your pain

You forget the past

All you can feel is the loss of blood

And all you can see is the bleeding of you wrists

You feel the sting of your arms

And the burning of your eyes

You've cried to much

Still questioning why

Still wondering  how someone  could care

Why someone  would care

And you still lay there

Bleeding

Now the numbness is back

You yearn to feel  pain

So again you take the razor

Just a little deeper

So you could feel a little longer

Then it fades

So again deeper

And then you lay there

On the cold floor

And you sob, gasping  for air

You think of all the good things in life

But they're  all tainted by the bad

And you close you eyes and say sorry to everyone

Yet no one at the same time

And you lay there

And finally

You quit
