Festering

There are others like me.
My kind.
Of course you know that. It’s why you’re here.
For many years I held out hope they might rescue me but that never came to pass. You see they fear me. They have good reason.
For my master is human like you.
If my master so chose he could turn me against my own race.
I would be powerless to stop him.
And my own kind would be powerless to stop me.
You should pray he doesn’t set me loose on you.
