Chapter 28~Closer

Closer-only a short distance away or apart in space or time

It's the beginning of March now and Stay's were anticipating the next Stray Kids comeback. However in the practice room Jisung was constantly checking his phone getting scolded by the choreographer.
"YA HAN JISUNG CONCENTRATE!"
"Sorry I'm trying,"
"WELL TRY HARDER!"

"Jisung what's up with you today your not with it at all it's not like you to be this out of it,"
"Sorry Chan hyung last night Minhyeon was feeling pain and was up most the night leaving me up with her and now I'm just worried the baby's coming this early,"
"Ya Han Jisung you should tell us this stuff that way you can be excused a bit," Changbin's face showed that of pity towards the younger as he shared his worries.
"I'm sorry I don't want to let anyone down but if it comes to it I'm leaving this room as soon as Minhyeon needs me as I'd rather lose a career than her and our baby."
"Jisung that's completely understandable for you to be this way I mean the baby will be here within the next month and we've got a comeback at the end of this month and after what your saying about last night your worries will be a lot worse." After Chan's words all of Stray Kids were sympathising with Jisung's worries and situation.

"Where's Jisung gone?"
"He had to go speak to the staff with Chan and Changbin why Minho?"
"Jeongin he left his phone here and Minhyeon's text him saying he either needs to come to her or she's coming here and that was about 10min ago so she's probably heading here." Running downstairs together as if on queue Minhyeon walked through the doors of the building.
"Ya Oh Minhyeon what are you doing walking here?"
"Well Jisung wasn't answering his phone and I need him and-" suddenly Minhyeon was cut off by what seemed to be a pain.
"Ya Minhyeon what's wrong?"
"Don't worry Jeongin it's just practice contractions they happened last night along with the baby constantly kicking and moving so no one got sleep last night and if they did it was an hour at most."
"Jesus Minhyeon come on let's get you upstairs sitting down we don't need a baby coming early."
"Don't worry Minho there will be no early appearances at this time trust me this baby is just moving and kicking all the time that sleep does not exist."

Arriving into the practice room everyone is there but 3racha, who are still talking to the staff, and everyone was shocked to see Minhyeon walk in with Jeonging and Minho. "Minhyeon what are you doing here?"
"Nice to see you too Seungmin, anyway I'm here as this baby is not behaving and I don't want to be alone while it's like this," after saying this another slight pain hit Minhyeon as 3racha walked in; seeing this Jisung ran straight to Minhyeon.
"What are you doing here? When did you get here? I thought we said you'd text or call me.
"I did you idiot but someone didn't pick up for ages so I walked here on my own while your child continuously kicked me." Taking Minhyeon to sit down Jisung sat with her hugging her, rubbing her back and bump trying to relax her. After a while Minhyeon has fallen asleep with her head resting on Jisung.
"She's really tired isn't she hyung,"
"She is Jeongin, I hate seeing her like this but the baby will be here soon and we can both deal with tiredness from the exact same thing."
"Jisung aren't you worried the baby might come during promotions?"
"Of course I am Hyunjin but I'm just trying not to think about that for all our sakes."

An hour later Minhyeon woke up looking in shock,
"Minhyeon are you ok?"
"Yes Jisung I'm fine the bag just kicked me in the ribs and woke me up." Everyone gave Minhyeon a look of pity once hearing what she said all of them being able to tell that doesn't sound comfortable at all.
"Jisung why don't you go take Minhyeon home and you take the rest of the day off too just the two of your rest,"
"Thanks Chan hyung."

Walking through the door to the apartment Minhyeon went straight to the bedroom starting to get more comfortable clothes on when Jisung came in helping his girlfriend before they got into the bed laying close to one another; Minhyeon laying with Jisung's arms around her as they both fell into a deep sleep after a restless day and night.
