SURPRISE UPDATE: Will I ever find the one?

Chae Young's p.o.v

"Do you remember the time I got into the hospital?"

You looked at Hanbin and nodded
"I will never forget that moment Hanbin-ah. I thought I lost you"

"Have you ever wondered why I was near the cafe?"

You blinked, flustered at the sudden query from hanbin.
"Yeah, why were you there?"

Hanbin let out a sigh.
"I think it was a month since you left me at that charity event,"

A sense of guilt filled your heart.
"I'm sorry,"

"Don't be Chae Young, but what I was about to say was.... After you gave me the broken bracelet, I got it fixed."

You looked at Hanbin. you didn't know what to think.
"Pardon?"

Hanbin smiled.
"That day when I saw you walking out of that cafe. I thought I was dreaming. I was searching for you and there you were in front of me. At that moment all I could feel and think is seeing you and getting things sorted and of course return the bracelet.
I guess my senses weren't with me cause the next thing I know I was on the ground. I couldn't feel my head. my vision blurred. I remember seeing a bright white light. It was like luring me.
I felt like something was slowly zapping me into that light."

You pursed your lips. curious. fascinated. intrgued.

"Then what happened Hanbin?"

He let out a chukcle.
"This might sound crazy, but then I heard your voice. I felt your touch and I opened my eyes and there you were. The white light was slowly fading away...then I don't remember what happened next but yeah. that's what happened. "

You were in awe.
"Wow, this is absolutely fascinating. I mean besides the fact that you practically resurrected from the dead, but the fact your senses were still alive and humming. wow,"

" I also heard you talking to me."

Your eyes widened.
"Jinja? What did you hear?"

He smiled.
"I heard your monotonous newspaper reading. "

You let out a chuckle.
"So you actually heard me..." you smiled.

He nodded.
"Anyways the real reason I called you was to ask for your thought on this track I just composed."

"Mmm show me,"

Hanbin got his laptop out of his bag and opened it. He clicked here and there then passed the laptop to you.
He plugged in the earphones and gently placed them in your ears.

You listened tentatively.

"Mmm... the beginning was good, but then it got too repetitive and to be honest quite bland,"

Hanbin looked shocked.
"That's exactly what I thought, but no one dared to criticise that when I asked them about their opinion. That's the very reason I ask you cause I know I will get a honest opinion,"

You let out a chuckle while sipping on your mocha.
"Hahah, yes I, Chae Young only speak the truth,"

Hanbin smiled.
You watched him as he looked out the window, staring at the sky.

"What are you thinking about?"
You asked

Hanbin's eyes dropped.
His lips pursed.
Creases on his forehead.
You wondered how much he has aged.
Signs of wisdom was flowing elegantly from his eyes, on his forehead, around his mouth.
Hanbin offered a smile.
"Nothing... just mmm going back,"

"Going back?"

Hanbin nodded. "mmm, going back to the old days. the past. the good times. the freedom. the happy, sweet times,"
