I'm Sorry?

Jinyoung's POV

I woke up and saw Mark sleeping on the couch towards my left. I looked around the room and saw Jackson sitting next to me on his phone.

"Where's everyone else?" I asked while sitting up.

Jackson looked at me and put his phone away.

"Oh Jinyoung, you woke up! They had things to do. We asked Jimin and Jin to go get some rest because they were crying too much." He said as he looked towards Mark's direction.

"We stayed behind to watch over you if something happens. I hope you don't mind."

"Oh no, not at all. I'm just happy that i am able to wake and not be alone." I said with a sad expression.

"What do you mean, 'not being alone'?" Jackson asked.

Damn it, I should've just kept my mouth shut. Might as well just say it.

"Um actually, i'm usually alone at home my mom is rarely there. I mean she was here this morning because well it's my first day of school but I don't think she's home at the moment."

"How do you know if she's there or not?" Jackson asked.

"You're right! She might have been calling me!" I said as I tried to get up and reach for my backpack but i forgot about my pain and it hit me. I groaned in pain and Jackson helped me to sit back down.

"Easy there Jinyoung. I'll get your phone. Where is it?"

"In the front pocket."

Jackson grabbed my backpack and took my phone out.

"Here you go." He said as he handed me my phone.

"Thanks." I unlock my phone and check for missed calls.

None. I got no calls from my mother. I check my messages and saw a message from my mother.

"Oh, she texted me!" I said.

Mom
Hey Jinyoung! I know you are still in school but
I have to leave for a business trip in Italy.
I'll be gone for 2 months!
I know it's too long, I left about 2,000-3,000 dollars
On your desk under your books, for the time I'll be gone.
Don't lose that money!
Ok I have to go now, My plane has arrived.

I stared at the message and my smile left my face.

"Hey what happened?" Jackson asked.

I gave the phone to him so he can read it.

"Oh.... so there's no way for your mom to come and see you right?"

I shook my head as I put my phone away.

"Don't worry i bet Jimin and them will want to go visit you so you won't be lonely." he said he tried to cheer me up.

"Yeah, I hope." My mom doesn't even have any time for me anymore. I thought she said this would stop.

"What about your dad? Doesn't he visit you."

"My dad? No he doesn't." I said.

"How come, i mean you are his child." Jackson asked.

"He's dead..." I trailed off.

"Oh shit, i'm sorry Jinyoung i didn't know." He said quickly.

"No it's ok he died when I was 10, I don't even remember how he looks like anymore." I said while looking at Jackson.
