Chapter Two
Jay
"This is your house?" Blair questioned as we pulled up to my over sized house.
"Uh, yeah." I reply. I smiled at her as she just sat there in awe. Yeah, okay, maybe the house was big, but it wasn't huge.
We stepped out of the car and walked into my house. "Hey Justin! How was scool?" I hear my mom ask.
"Umm, graeat mom, but my names Jay. Not Justin." I tell my mom, walking further into the house with Blair following behind me.
"Oh, sorry sweetie, I keep calling you your father's name." My mother says, pulling me in for a hug.
"Anyways, mom, this is Blair, we were put together for a project for school." I tell her, stepping away from her so that she can see Blair clearly.
"Oh hi sweetie! It's great to see that Justin is making some friends." My mother says, giveing Blair a hug as well.
"It's Jay, mom." I tell her. Blair probably thinks my mom is some kind of moron. "Well, anyways, Blair and I have to go upstairs and get started on the project." I tell her, grabbing Blairs wrist and pulling her up the stair case.
Blair and I walk through the long hallway and into my room. "Your room is so cute!" Blair says, taking a seat on the grey couch that I have in the corner. Cute. She said my room is cute. Isn't that just awesome.
I give her a smile, not knowing what to say after she says that my room is cute.
"Well, don't just stand there, come sit next to me and we'll work on the project." She says, patting the space next to her.
I nod, grabbing my backpack before sittind down next to her.
After we had been working for about an hour, I hear her phone ring.
"Hello?" I hear her answer before I have a chance to see who it is. She giggles before speaking again. "I would love to, but I can't." She says.
I sigh, hoping that she won't be on the phone for long.
"No, I'm at Jay's house working on a project." She says into the phone. Theres a pause before she says anything else. "No, he's not a loser!" She says, getting angry.
There is another long pause, "You know what John, call me when you're done being an asshole." She tell, who I'm assuming is John and then hangs up her phone, tossing it to the side after.
"I'm really sorry Jay." She apologizes. "He a right asshole sometimes."
"It's fine, I'm used to it." I tell her. Not realizing that I probably sounded sorry for myself.
"I don't know why he has to be such as ass, it's like ever since 7th grade he's just hated everyone." She says, looking at me while talking.
"I don't know, and I don't really care, after this year I don't have to deal with anyone at that school. I hate everyone there and I cannot wait until we have our graduating ceremony." I had been planning on taking off my wig when they call my name.
"Don't say that Jay, not everone there is bad." Blair says.
"Yeah, you say that because you're a cheerleader and everone is nice to you. I would love for John to be me, just for a day." I tell her. I immediatly wanted to take it back though. I had really just meat Blair, and here I was, telling her all of my problems.
"I'm sorry, I'm just telling you all of my problems." I apologize.
"It's fine, I think it's cute." She says, smiling at me. I'll admit it, I blushed a little.
