Chapter Seven

Blair

"We've got to get you to the hospital." I tell Jay as he is sat on the bathroom floor in the girls bathroom. "Your head won't stop bleeding."

I look down at him, feeling guilty. "I'm really sorry, Jay." I tell him, handing him a fist full of paper towels, knowing that this would not hold all of the blood that would spill in the next half an hour.

"It's not your fault." He tries to tell me as I extend my hand for him to grab so I could help him up.

"Not my fault?" I ask him, "How's it not my falut? If I wouldn't have broken up with John none of this would have happened." I tell him, trying not to look at his blood soaked hair as it grossed me out.

We walked out to my car and he got in, his blood already seeping through the paper towels.

He's going to get blood all over my new car...

Oh, the things that we do for the ones we love.

On our way to the hospital, Jay passed out again, I'm not sure if it was from blood loss, or what, but it scared me. What if he were to just die in my car? I don't think that I, myself, could go on living.

Once we had gotten to the hospital, I had to reach into the pocket of Jay's skinny jeans to pull out his phone, I'm just glad that he wasn't consious.

I got into his phone and found Pattie in his contact list, She told me that she was still at work and wouldn't be at the hospital for another 3 hours and asked me if I would mind staying with Jay while she wasn't there.

I promised her that I would.

Once Jay was inside of the hospital, which I had to get some help for, the dotors had to stitch up the back of his head, which had cracked at some point during the fight.

Jay

I was jolted awake by a dream, I can't remember what happened, but I know that Blair was in it. Once I had calmed down, I noticed that I had no clue where I was.

I sat up in a bed, noticing that I was in a hospital gown. I looked around the quaint room and saw my mom and Blair sitting in the chairs next to the door. It must have been late because I could see the city lights in the big window on the opposite side of the room.

"Jay?" I hear a quite voice call from the other side of the room, making me turn my head.

"Yeah?" I ask, looking back at Blair.

"I'm really sorry Jay, I didn't know that you were going to be hurt so bad if I broke up with John." She apologizes, getting up so the she is standing next to my bed.

"It's fine. And my name really is Justin." I tell her, not really wanting to go by Jay anymore.

"I know," She says, a big smile forming on her lips, "your mom told me earlier. I kinda fangirled..."

I laugh, "You're such a dork." She laughs along with me.

"I'm sorry, what would you do if you found out that your friend was secretly a huge star?" She asks me, "And you had their posters in your room and you've been to their concerts, and then one day, oh, by the way..." She goes on.

"You're really cute when you babble." I tell her, half asleep.

I see a blush creep up on her cheeks and she tries to hide it, but it doesn't work.

She rubs her neck, "Those chairs suck..."

I scoot over in the bed, "You can sleep here if you want." I offer, patting the spot next to me.

I lie back down in the bed as she lies down next to me, turning on her side so that she is facing me.

The room is very dimly lit, making it easy to fall asleep in. "Hey, Blair?" I whisper. Her eyes were closed, but I wasn't sure if she was asleep.

"Hmm..." She mumbled, letting me know she was awake, but not opening he eyes.

"Remember when you asked about homecomeing and I said that there was the one girl that I wanted to go with, but I wasn't sure if she liked me?" I asked her.

Her eyes shot open, "Yes." She replies, now fully awake.

"That girl was you." I tell her, making her smile, "Will you go to the homecomeing dance with me?" I ask her, letting all my plans of doing something special for her go.

She smiles, "Yes!" She says it in a loud whisper.

I spend a few seconds, contemplating if I should kiss her, because I really want to, but I'm just not sure if she likes me like that.

I decide that I shouldn't kiss her lips, so I kiss her cheek instead.

"You're too cute." She tells me, grabbing my face and kissing me on the lips.

Blair

I don't know what gave me the courage to do it, but I did it. And I was glad that I did it, as he didn't waist a second before kissing me back.

It was kind of awkward at first because of the way that we were laying, but after a few seconds, I felt his arms go around my waist to pull me ontop of him.

I felt him lick my bottom lip, asking for an entrance. We were now making out, and it was great.

This was unlike any of the times that I had kissed John, this was so much better.

I hear Pattie clear her throat behind us, making me jump off of Justin.

I look up to see Pattie just staring at us... that's awkward.
