For the first few weeks no one would leave the unconscious albino's bedside. The ANBU who came to visit had rid their faces of masks, revealing they're faces. Snake, a woman who was known to were revealing clothing, had been realized to be Anko. Dolphin,known as an academy teacher, was realized to be a man by the name of Iruka. Others visited the comatose boy as well, only ANBU though. Dog-Kakashi,crow-itachi, and the occasional Ibiki we're naming a few. However, the third hokage never came to visit. Months passed, the albino's body was still in no shape for him to be conscious. It was healing though. His empty eye sockets scared over and most damage to the flesh had healed by the forth month. His left ear had been a miracle. When Hakui has checked again she noticed that the white haired boy's left ear had minimal damage compared to the rest of his body. His other ear, however, had to be removed completely to prevent infection and brain damage. Hakui still couldn't look at the boy's mouth injury. Every time she saw it she either broke down crying or threw up. By the sixth month, Anko was pissed. Not at Naruto of course, but her hokage. The old man always told them to protect he child. Yet as he lay in the medical bed with only a heart monitor to remind her he was alive, Sarutobi never came.

Two years went by, and the albino still haven't woken up. Much had changed since then. Anko had adopted Naruto behind the third's back as her little brother. It had been hilarious when Iruka, Hakui, and Ibiki all showed up with identical papers. Hakui had gone to a Mind Jutsu user when her little brother Haden's woken up after a year. He had told her that it appeared he was too scared to wake up. No one could blame the poor kid either. Who would want to wake up to a world that housed the people who gouged their eyes out. On October 10th, all of the people who loved the little Albino set up a birthday party for the now 10 year old. Exactly 3 years had passed since that terrible day. Anko walked up to the birthday boys bed with a small cake, followed by the group of people, all singing happy birthday. After the song was finished they all paused for a moment, as if waiting for Naruto to blow out all 10 candles. When nothing happened Anko gently blew them all out for him. Iruka walked over and helped with slicing the cake, using a plastic knife in case the child woke up. When he sat down a line piece of cake by Naruto's bedside it happened. The young boys eyes shot open in terror. Seconds passed before he started thrashing in the hospital bed, animal like screams escaping his mouth. Breaking out of shock, Anko, Iruka,Kakashi, and Hakui ran to the boy. The two men grabbed the frantic boys arms and legs, using the straps on the bedside to attach him. They knew it would only increase his panic but they couldn't let him hurt himself. Anko began talking to him by his left ear, the only one that could pick up sound, while Hakui began doing a medical scan with her chakra. Ibiki was long gone, having run out of the room to get nurses and bandages the moment Naruto began to move. They all did everything in they're power to help him.
