When the bell ringed, Keri was the first one to rush out of her classroom as she heads to her locker and grab her things.

She is excited that the day is over and she could go home to get some rest cause' she had a hard time being awake in some of her classes.

"Girl, you rush out of there like you were in trouble." Bianca laughed, opening her locker.

"I'm tired as hell, girl." Keri confessed, putting on her coat and zipping it up.

"How were your classes?" She asked, glancing at her while grabbing her backpack.

"They were ok. I made a few friends, one of them was during lunch."
Bianca answered.

Keri chuckled.
"Of course. You make friends if you bring a bag of chips or a 2 liter."

Bianca nodded.
"That's true."

"What's her or his name?" Keri asked, closing her locker.

"Quinton. His hair is everything."
Bianca added.

"Oh, Quinton Smith. Yeah. He do got some nice hair. I remember I ask him what weave it was and he almost curse me out but we always play like that." Keri told as the two walk to class, waiting to be dismissed.

"Bianca, what do you want to eat?" Stephanie asked, scrolling through her phone as she was on Google looking for restaurants nearby.

"Hm, I don't know, I'm craving a lot." Bianca answered, walking into the living room where her mom was. She plop down on the couch and rested her head on her mother's arm.

"You want chicken wings? Pizza? Tacos?" Her mom suggests.

"Tacos?" Bianca look up at her mom, now knowing what she wanted. It's been awhile since she had tacos.

"Ok, I go to taco bell since you love their tacos the most." Stephanie chuckled.

Bianca cheesed and did a little dance which made her mom laugh some more.

The laughter stopped and their heads turn towards the door as it opened to her father. He looks into the living room with an irritated look plastered on his face.

Bianca and her mom shared looks.

"Hey daddy, how was your first day as a Chuck E. Cheese's bouncer?" Bianca asked, trying to lighten the mood.

Her father, Tommy, kicks off his shoes and muttered something under his breath.

"Bad ass summabitches." Tommy proceeded to the kitchen as Bianca got off the couch and followed him there.

Tommy stood by the island as he guzzles down a beer.

"Uh, Daddy, I had a good day at school." Bianca smiled, changing the subject since her father's first day didn't go good.
