Y/N/N P.O.V:

First day as Tom's assistant is not as fun as I expected. Who knew he could such a short-tempered person.

I was never an assistant to anybody, so I really didn't know how to act. I thought I was doing my job well, but when Tom started scolding me, I knew I messed up. But I wasn't going to let him know that.

I groan, dropping myself on my bed — my hotel room's bed. I have to be as close with Tom as possible, so I booked my own room just one floor above him.

Taking my shoes off, I open my laptop and instantly, JK's contact photo shows up. I answer his FaceTime call quickly. "What's up?"

"Well, hello to you too, Y/F/N. How's Atlanta?" I've known JK sometime now, and no, he's not a boyfriend, because, ew — that's gross. But he's one of the most important people in my life.

My nose scrunches after hearing my first name. I was used to my nickname, which is only like his, but they're definitely not my initials. "Ew, don't call me that, ever."

"Oh, come on, it's your first name."

"I hate my first name. Anyway, why'd you call? I'm in need of sleep, I have a big day tomorrow — at least I think I do. I might get fired today." I take some wet wipes from my nightstand and wipe my makeup off. JK is the only person I can show my bare face to.

"That's why I told you to stop being so bitchy. You're a brat and you know that very well." He's on his phone, probably playing another online game.

I sigh, throwing the wipes away, "Okay, for one, I'm just doing my job. Two, I'm not here to make friends, I'm only here for university requirements."
