Simple Cliche

A/N: We're nearing the end of this book so expect a lot!

Rock Lee's POV [1 year later; Seniors in High School]

I lie on my bed refusing to move as the sun pours into my room. I welcome the warmth with a smile and stretch out like starfish. After the dance Sakura and I started spending more and more time together, she integrated into our friend group like Ino once did and we were all happy again. Everything was going perfectly!  Sakura also came over almost everyday. I can't believe it has been a whole year.

"Lee! you ready to go? We don't want to be late on our first day of Senior year!" I hear Sakura's voice call from outside my door. I quickly finish placing on my long sleeve green shirt, grab my backpack and open the door to see my beautiful blossom. I grab her hand and we are on our way to school.

"Good morning beautiful, how are you this morning?" I say with a wink as we begin to stroll to school.

"I'm with you so I'm great." She says with a huge smile causing my heart to flutter.

"Someones looking a little flustered." She says while lightly giggling.

"Oh yeah? Well I'm not the only one." I say with a playful smirk.

"What do you me-" I cut her off by grabbing her waist and brushing my lips right in front of hers then I let go. Her face was red and she punches me.

"Ouch!" I say as I double over in pain, and she bends down to kiss me.

"Next time don't tease me." She says with confidence.

"Okay I get it." I whine and also pout.

"You're adorable when you pout." She sticks her tongue out and laughs softly.

"And you seem to be adorable always." I say as we continue our short walk to the school, hand in hand.

I sit at the lunch table, laughing among my friends. All of us were happy since we're in our last year.

"Let's all hang out at my place tomorrow night for my birthday!" I light up with the idea as if a bulb was glowing above my head.

"Of course we'll all be there believe it!" Naruto says taking the liberty to speak for everyone.

"Yes! It'll be so fun." Ino chirps with excitement throwing her hands up.

Sakura grabs my hand and looks at me, "We wouldn't miss your birthday for the world."

"Yeah this is the prime of your youth after all." Tenten says with a chuckle.

"Mr.Guy says the prime of our youth never ends if you work out enough!" I say with a bright smile.

Neji and Tenten start laughing. "Yeah that sounds like him." Neji says with a look on his face as if he was remembering him.

"I can't wait for tomorrow." I told my friends with a beaming smile.

The end of school came and it was time for me to walk Sakura home. I looked at the sky and allowed the breeze to wash over me. It was a beautiful day, I wish every day was like this. I looked towards the school and saw Sakura leaving the building.

"Hey Sakura! ready to go?" I say waving her over to the main gate.

"Yes! Sorry I took so long." She looked sad and I grabbed her hand.

"Hey Sakura, why do you look so sad?" I squeeze her hand and she looks into my eyes.

"I feel bad, I've been hiding you from my parents but I don't want to anymore. I'm scared they won't see how great you are." She confesses with the same sad face.
