The next morning, most of us kids from class, are out in the common area, just talking. Pamala is to my right, talking to me.
"I mean like, think about it. Who listens to a movie that loud at night?" She laughs at me.
"Ha ha, Pamala. You're funny. It was a good movie, I'm sorry." I blush slightly.
I hear a voice down the corridor. "Why are you guys still here? I thought we had class today?"
I look up and meet eyes with Nosido. Looks like someone may not actually look at their phone in the morning. He did go to bed quite early last night. "Didn't you hear? We got today off too so we could get used to being in the dorms, and get whatever else we needed from home."
"Oh. Well, that's cool... I suppose."
"You wanna come sit down? We're really not doing anything."
"Sure, sounds good to me." He slowly walks over to us and sits criss cross in front of the couch we're sitting on.
"I guess I should introduce myself, huh? I'm Sakura. Blue hair over here," I point to Pamala on my right. "Is Pamala"
Pamala elbows me, most likely not happy with me calling her blue hair. "You're Nosido, right? The kid with the black lightning bolt thing?"
"Yeah, but it's not lightling.. It's ink." He looks down, feeling slightly awkward.
I notice the two little hickeys on his neck, but don't say anything. It happened. "What's that on your neck?" Pamala shoots from out of the blue.
Nosido panics slightly and puts his hand over them. "Just a bug bite! I got bit in my sleep I guess, I noticed them in the bathroom this morning!"
Pamala nods in agreement, like that kind of thing is normal. He just lied to her.
Nosido looks back up, and his eyes widen. "That's right, your the girl with the cool blood demons!"
I saw a slight blush form on her face as she looked away, playing with her hair with one finger. "Thank you Nosido, I appreciate that you think it's cool." I can tell that she's not too pleased with her own quirk.
I look at my fingernails, deciding it might time to paint them, and I see Nosido's arm wave spastically. "Hey Zota! Over here!" Zota walks over too, and sits down next to Nosido, crossing his legs and leaning back on his arms. "Pamala, Sakura, this is Zota. He's one of my friends."
Zota smiles to us. Nosido must of been who he mentioned last night falling before they met. I don't actually know though. "What's up? How are you two ladies doing today? I'm doing pretty well, just woke up like, five minutes ago, though!"
I sat there, looking at him surprised. How can he be so energetic, even in the morning. He literally just woke up!
"Trust me, you'll get used to how often he talks." Zota looked at Nosido with a confused face.
"What? Do I talk too much?"
"No, not at all Zota." He chuckled, shaking his head and sighing.
"Hm? Hey... Wait are those hickeys on your neck?! Who gave them to you? Are you dating someone or something!?" Zota's face turns excited. Once again his face blushed a dark red and covered his neck.
"No one! They aren't hickeys! They're just bug bites!" Lies..
"Oh, come ooon, that's the oldest excuse in the book! We all know what hickeys look like!" Zota absolutely would not let up, he wanted an answer but Nosido wasn't having it.
