I stayed crouched in a tree as I watched them make camp for the night, "ugh! So tired!" she spoke as she fell onto her bedroll causing me to chuckle softy.

~Your pov~

Qrow chuckled as he pulled out a frying pan, "want some food?" he asked as I looked at him, "yes!" I exclaimed as he smiled a little. I watched as he made some dinner which was grilled cheese. I munched on it happily, after that I was staring at the fire as Qrow cleaned his weapon, I couldn't sleep, I could feel eyes on me, I was constantly looking into the woods but since it was dark, I couldn't find the source, 'you're being paranoid...' I chewed on the inside of my mouth, "so, why'd you leave the White Fang?" Qrow spoke as I looked at him, "as much as I loved Adam, his methods were extreme...I feel, like if we faunus want to be treated right, then we shouldn't do it with violence...we should show it through deeds..." I told him as he stared at me. I played with my choker pendant, "what's that?", "my choker pendant?" I looked over at him as he nodded. "It's a bull...well, a bull's head. The right eye is a blue gem and the other is a red gem..." I told him as he looked at it, "the eye in my crow pendant is red as well..." I told him as I scooted closer to him and showed him the crow pendant. It was a crow that looked like it was flying. "I know, I saw...I like it" he told me as I snorted, "so, if your ex happens to find us, what should I look out for?" he asked as I stared into the fire, "if he were to find us, he wouldn't make himself known...he'd wait until we were asleep and take me in the dead of night," I told him, "well that's just a boatload of fun" he spoke as he took a swig from his flask.

I ended up falling asleep beside Qrow.

~Adams pov~

I watched as the man fell asleep as well, I waited about two good hours and watched as the fire died. 'I can't do it tonight...he'll know it was me...but what I can do, is make sure she knows I'm close but not too close...I know she won't say anything...that's just the way she is...' I smirked as I jumped down from the tree, I snuck into their camp, being able to see in the dark helps out a lot. I walked up to her pack as she stirred in her sleep. Her eyes opened a little and I froze. 'Damnit' I mentally growled, "Adam? What are you doing? Is it time to move out?" she sleepily asked as I thought for a moment, "no Y/n, go back to sleep" I whispered as she mumbled something and fell back asleep. 'Too close' I let out a small sigh as I opened her pack and placed in the book I had gotten her, 'Dragon and Sword...the book she read the most' I smirked as I also placed a picture of the two of us in her pack. It was before my left eye got hurt, I didn't have my mask on, she was on my back, her arms were wrapped around me, I was looking back at her with a smirk, her eyes were closed and she was smiling largely. I looked back at her and the man she was beside, I leaned down and gave her a kiss on the forehead. "You'll be home soon my love" I whispered as I left their camp.

~Your pov~

I woke up before Qrow, I stretched and rubbed my eyes. I looked around the camp, the fire was dead, I then started to remember my strange dream, Adam was standing by my pack...and for some reason, I thought it was time to move out...he had told me that nothing was wrong and told me to go back to sleep. 'Odd dream...' I cleared my throat making Qrow jump awake, "uh!" he spoke as his eyes opened, I snorted as he blinked a few times, "right..." he sighed as he got up and placed his weapon on his lower back. We packed up and continued on the journey, I munched on some bread with cheese on it for breakfast. "So, this is fun" I spoke as Qrow sighed and looked up from the map. "Look, you're bored, I'm bored...let's just deal with it. Now, I was thinking, we go to Haven, rest up there for a few days, hop a train to Argus, and then take an airship to Atlas" he told me as I nodded. I then heard rustling in the leaves behind me, I turned to see what it was. I watched as a few leaves danced through the air and landed on the ground. I stared at the leaves as I toyed with my choker pendant. 'In all my years at Beacon, I hadn't thought of him once, why am I starting now?' I sighed, "hey! Come on, we're not stopping for anything" Qrow shouted as I turned and ran back up to him.

"Sorry I was thi-..." my eyes grew wide as we were now at the entrance of a burned down village, Qrow and I pulled out our weapons, "Look for survivors!" he told me as I nodded and we ran into the village. I looked around, my ears perked up and I looked up and saw Adam in the woods, I took a step back, 'no...' my eyes grew wide as we stared at each other, I turned my weapon into a shotgun and pointed it at him. But by the time I did that, he was gone. 'You're seeing things Y/n...' I sighed as I shook my head and walked off, "Y/n! Over here"Qrow shouted, I ran towards him and saw bodies just laying all over the place. "I don't think there are any survivors" he spoke as I looked at the back of one of the dead villagers, I examined the cuts 'Adam...he did this' I looked back at where I thought I saw him, "c'mon...there's another village not far, we can rest up there for tonight" Qrow spoke.
