Chapter 26

Amy's POV:
Right after Professor Quirrel dashed in and shouted there was a troll in the dungeon,the hall became chaos(not the god of course).People were running around screaming and I think when Dumbledore couldn't take it anymore,he bellowed,"SILENCE!"The effect was immediate,People went back to their seats and shut up.Then he continued calmly,"Prefects,bring the students back into the common rooms and Professors,follow me."Everybody jumped off their seats and almost flew towards the exit.But I didn't follow.Why?Because Hermione didn't know and I do not I repeat I do not want my friend to be hurt by a stupid troll.I dashed to the toilet she was in and dashed in."Hermione!Where are you?"I yelled."Over here."she said in her cubicle."Quick get out of here,there is a troll."I said pounding on the cubicle door."What?"she screamed and opened the door.Just then we smelt a disgusting stench of smell enter the cubicle and I whipped my head towards the smell.It was the troll.I put my hand on my ring.The troll was a monster so I could kill it with celestial bronze,but because of the the missionI had to use a mortal dagger.I lifted my hand off my ring and into my pocket for the knife.I heard a click on the door.Someone locked us in.Then Hermione did the stupidest thing I will ever see......................she screamed.As if on cue,the troll turned around and began to charge towards us."Hermione ru-"I whispered,but before I could finish,Ron and Harry dashed in."Distract it!"Harry yelled at Ron.Ron nodded and shouted,"OI PEA BRAIN!"The troll whipped around and ran at Ron.Just like a Minotaur."Ron!Side step!"Ron did and nearly missed being whacked to the ceiling.The troll turned towards me and I shouted at all of them,"I can fight it!"I brandished my dagger and pounced on the troll ,hitting the knife into its stomach.Blood poured out but it ignored it and tried to swing its club at me.Using the opportunity,I jumped onto the club and climbed up to the troll's head and hit the hilt of the knife onto his head as hard as I could and it fell onto the floor.Smiling to myself,I pocketed the knife in my pocket and raised my head only to see the shocked faces of my friends."Don't worry guys I train for it at my summer camp."I lied."Oh..........."was all they could say.
Right then,the door swung open to reveal the professors."Wha-Oh my!"Professor Mcgonagall gasped.All the teachers' eye were wide open.They looked at the troll which had a bleeding stomach and was laying on the floor not moving."Mr Weasely,Potter and Miss Kathy and Granger,explain yourselves!"I opened my mouth to say something but Hermione beat me to it."Professor Mcgonagall,it was my fault.I heard there was a troll and I went to look for it as I read about it before and thought I could defeat it.If Harry,Ron and Amy hadn't come it would have killed me."Hermione lied,for us.
"Miss Granger!"Professor Mcgonagall gasped,not believing her ears."Ho-how could you!5 points from Griffindor and I am very disappointed in you."Hermione ran out and we were about to follow when Professor Mcgonagall said smiling,"And 15 point to sheer dumb luck."Anger bubbled in me."Sheer dumb luck?"I thought angrily.That was insulting!I ran off with Harry and Ron behind me to the Griffindor common where Hermione was waiting for us.And I knew from that day on,we were going to be best friends.

Harry's POV:(When Professor Quiriell came in)
As we followed Percy(weasley not jackson) back to our dorms,a thought hit me."Ron,we need to go back."I whispered to Ron."Why?"he asked oblivious."Hermione!"I nearly shouted."Oh......"as realization hit him slowing."Ok but Percy better not see us."We dashed off and soon a rotten smelly smell hit me.(Not literally)"Blegh."I said with Ron.We took a look at it and wrinkled our noses.The troll smelled like it took a dip in the toilet bowl while someone was doing their buisness.As the troll stumbled into the toilet,I dashed to the door with Ron hot on my heels.I shut the door and locked it with a click.I few seconds later,we heard a familiar scream.Hermione.We flung the door open and looked inside.Hermione.Check.Troll.Check.Amy.Che-Wait a second!Why was she here?The troll gained onto Hermione and Amy.Fearing for them,I yelled at Ron,"Distract it!"Ron nodded at me and yelled at the troll,"OI PEA BRAIN!"The troll ran towards Ron and I heard Amy shout to Ron to side step like she knew exactly how to fight it.Well Ron listened to her and avoided getting hit to the ceiling.Just as I was about to do something,Amy shouted at us,"I know how to fight it!"Before we could reply,she dashed up towards the troll a knife in her hand.She jumped off the ground and pushed the tip of the knife into the troll's belly.The troll ignored the pain and swung the club at her.I covered my eyes waiting for a sickening crunch but it never happened.I took a sneak peak at what was happening and I tell you,I was beyond shocked.Shocked would be an understatement.
She had jumped onto the club,climbed up quickly,dodging the failed attacks from the troll and when she finally got up to its head s-sh-she used the hilt of her knife and hit it onto the troll's head as hard as possible and it just flopped to the ground.Not moving........My mouth dropped open and my eyes widened to the size of tennis balls.We stared at her blankly and she said,"Don't worry guys I train for it at my summer camp."
"Oh......"was all we could say.I mean you would too if you saw your friend(/crush)fight a troll as if it was nothing.
Soon Professor Mcgonagall entered and she was more suprised than us.Hermione lied for us(thought she'd never do that) and before we left to our dorms,I saw anger in her eyes.I wonder why.I drifted off to sleep and knowing that the 4 of us would be best friends.
