After the kiss, Derek and Savannah continued to train for a few more hours until the sun started to set and they both agreed that it would be best if Savannah got home. Derek drove her back to her house, holding her hand the entire way back.
When she got to the house, they both looked at each other and then the front door "I think it would be best if we kept our adventure from Scott.." Savannah said.
Derek nodded "I think that would be a good idea," he said and smiled bringing her hand to his lips "I'll see you later" he said and straightened up, turning to look at the road.
Savannah quickly got out of the car and walked inside, "Mom? I'm home" Savannah called out going into the living room and then stopped.
Scott was sitting on the couch with Kira on his lap, their lips moving quickly against each other. When Scott figured out that Savannah was in the room he quickly pulled away and moved Kira from his lap.
"Where the hell have you been Savannah?! I was looking for you at school and Erica said that you left!"
Rolling her eyes, Savannah made her way up the stairs to her bedroom. She was about to shut the door when Scott barged in "answer me!" he yelled.
Savannah growled and looked at Scott "Scott, for the thousandth time! You are not my parent! So stop acting like it!" she complained, pulling out her books to start on homework.
"Then just tell me what the hell you were doing! Were you with a guy?" he asked, causing Savannah to laugh.
"After what you were doing downstairs, you're going to try to get mad at me on if I was with a guy or not?"
"So you were with a guy?"
"No Scott, I was not. Now go away" She complained, wanting to be left alone.
"Not until you tell me where the hell you were!"
Savannah growled and pushed Scott roughly causing him to go flying back into the wall.
Melissa came in quickly "what the hell is going on here? This house does not have the supernatural ability to heal!" she said looking at her two children.
"Scott is trying to act like dad again!" she said and looked at Melissa crossing her arms.
"Savannah ditched school today and won't tell me where she went!" Scott said looking for Melissa for help.
Savannah looked at Scott and let out a growl "god you are such a tattletale!" Savannah said and went into her room slamming the door behind her and using the sliding lock to keep everyone out.
Scott sighed and looked at Melissa "I don't know what I did to make her hate me so much,"
Melissa shook her head and put her hand on his shoulder, rubbing it gently "she doesn't hate you Scott, she's your younger sister. If she wasn't mad at you every once in a while then you wouldn't be family. But she is right you know,"
Scott looked at her and raised an eyebrow "what do you mean?" He asked and followed his mom into her room as she finished getting ready for work.
Melissa turned and looked at him "Scott, you aren't your dad. I understand that you are protective over your sister, but at the same time, you can't parent Savvy, that's my job. Instead of trying to be her parent, try being her brother."
Savannah listened to her brother and mom talk in the hallway and sighed. She knew that she was overreacting and that Scott was just doing what he thought was right, but she was tired of feeling like a child, like she was weak.
She quickly changed her clothes into a pair of shorts and her beacon hills sweatshirt crawling into bed, she was overly exhausted from being up all night from the full moon.
