You woke up not to a feeling of grogginess, but to a more relaxed, well-rested feeling which was odd considering it was best you've ever slept in two weeks.
Stretching your arms and pulling off the sheets, you rubbed your eyes and headed downstairs for a nice cup of morning tea.
A cold draft sent chills down your back and not being one to care enough to turn the heater on, you continued on your morning mission to find the tea bags.
Finally find the tea bags and letting it steep in a hot cup of water. You took the cup and carelessly flopped onto the couch only to cause the hot water to splash onto your skin.
"Son of a bitch!" You hissed in pain when the hot water came in contact with your cold skin.
Just now noticing how loud you were, you heard footsteps down the upstairs hall.
"You alright there?" You heard a voice ask as they were walking downstairs.
You looked up to see Noodle in her pjs who looked like she could use a few more hours, or days, of sleep.
"'M fine." You reassured her while placing the cup on a very worn out coffee table.
Noodle walked over to you and flopped down beside you yawning causing your face to flush a bit.
"So how was your sleep?" You asked trying to rid of your flustered feelings.
She only snickered. "I couldn't sleep so I got outta bed."
You reached over and grabbed your tea. Taking a sip to test how hot it was, Noodle leaned onto your shoulder yawning.
Blushing, you leaned into her touch a little, feeling the warmth between you.

After finishing your tea and placing your cup onto the couch armrest, you looked to Noodle passed out on your shoulder.
You soon rested your bead upon hers and closed your eyes.
Looks like she finally got the sleep she needed.
