Being one to to be temperamental, you were very destructive. If not physically, mentally. Not only was your last relationship a complete disaster, but your hope started to fade little by little everyday.

Waiting outside in the rain at a bus stop, you stuck your earphones in and turned up the volume to block out your annoying stressful thoughts. You knew it was a hazard to do so during a thunderstorm, but at this rate why care?

Seeing the headlights of the bus come down the road, you let out a sigh of relief knowing you could finally go home and scream into a pillow although you were starting to lose your voice from doing it so often these days.

Getting on the bus you looked around for an open seat which shouldn't be to hard considering it was getting pretty late. Deciding to sit at the very back, you made your way there.

Looking around, you noticed the same dreary colors your world was made of. A common oh-so bold combination of dark blues and greys.

Still looking around, you noticed one person that stood out to you the most of this bus filled with sad sacks of sadness. She looked like she was around her mid 20s, shaggy, short black hair with a light tint of purple, and was wearing a baggy sweatshirt which honestly was kinda cute, though you werent sure if you were gonna love ever again after your past relationships.

Tapping your foot to the beat your sweet jams, you continued wating for the bus to reach your stop eventually glancing at the girl you noticed earlier.

She seemed to be zoned out, possibly angry, or just a little sad. Though you soon wanted to get to know her.

Finally, the bus made it to your stop. If only you lived closer so you wouldn't have to worry about getting soaked. Great.

The girl from earlier noticed your moody behavior and looked up at you a bit confused. She then got up and tapped on your shoulder.

Turning around, you meet face to face with the girl who then handed you her umbrella that you didnt even notice before.

You then looked at her again, this time with a bit of confusion sort of like asking her if it was ok to use her umbrella.

She then reassured you by shoving it to your chest expecting you to take it, which you did.

She then proceeded to pull out an old gum wrapper from her pocket and a pen from her handbag which was in the shape of a cat. How cute.

She wrote down a series of numbers on the wrapper and handed it to you. And if your werent so damn sleepy, you could've sworn you saw her blush a little.

Taking the wrapper and her umbrella, you walked off the bus and headed for  your apartment.

Hearing a series of lightning strikes around you, you began to run, if not sprint to your apartment. You ran past  abandoned buildings and a small old plaza that still had a bit of business, but not enough to keep it running.

Each roar of thunder, and each strike of lightning caused you to pick up your pace and you could practically smell the cigarette smoke coming from your run down apartment.

You finally slammed yourself against your door as a result of not slowing down in time. Pulling out your keys, and sticking them in the doorknob, your open the door to your shabby living room.

Leaning against the door, you pulled out the wrapper given to you by the girl on the bus.

Adding the number to your contacts, you decided to spring up a conversation.
