Chapter 8

It's been a few weeks since Namjoon's and Jin's date and they have been on a few more since then. They talk every day and Jin has come over to Namjoon's house. The boys love him, especially Jimin, which surprised Namjoon.

Jimin is a closed off and shy kid who always wants his Appa, but when Jin came around Jimin instantly took a liking to him.

Today was a particularly stressful day for Namjoon. He had 150+ tests to get graded before the next day and Taehyung and Jungkook weren't helping with their tantrums.

Namjoon tried to call Hoseok to come over and help, but the older had plans. Namjoon now had a horrible headache and didn't know what to do.

Taehyung began screaming exceptionally loud and Namjoon was about to snap when suddenly his phone rang.

He grunted and snatched his phone from its place on the table, pressing the green button without looking at the caller ID.

"Hello?" he answered, voice sounding rougher than meant to be.

"Hi, Joonie," Jin's soft voice making Namjoon feel a bit more relaxed.

"Hey, Jinnie," Namjoon's voice grew a bit softer but still not his normal tone.

"You ok Joonie? You sound stressed."

Namjoon heard the concern in Jin's voice and sighed deeply.

"I am. I've got a ton of papers I've got to get graded before tomorrow and Taehyung and Jungkook thought tonight would be the perfect time to throw tantrums at the same time."

"Oh..." Jin could hear the wailing of a toddler once Namjoon finished and Namjoon sighed again.

"Hold on Jinnie, I've gotta get Tae to calm down, hopefully, Kook will too," Namjoon was about to set his phone down to get Taehyung when Jin spoke.

"Why don't I come over and take care of them?"

Namjoon froze, thinking he heard Jin wrong and put the phone back to his ear.

"What?"

"I said, let me come over and take care of the boys while you get your papers done."

"Jinnie-"

"Namjoon, let me. You've got a lot of work to do and you're stressed. It isn't healthy to stress, so don't even try to deny it and say yes."

Namjoon was quiet for a moment, Jin only being able to hear Tae's crying in the background. Jin knew he wanted to deny the offer, but he wasn't going to let him.

Jin began getting his things together before Namjoon spoke again.

"Alright. I'll see you in a few minutes. Bye Jinnie."

"Bye Joon," Jin hung up and got in his car. It was only about a 15-minute drive to Namjoon's place, so he got there rather quickly.

Jin parked the car and knocked on the door. Soon, Namjoon stood before him, Jungkook clutching the fabric of his shirt in his tiny fists as Namjoon held him.

The man's hair was sticking out in all different directions and his shirt was slightly untucked.

Jin tried his best not to get distracted by Namjoon's appearance, yes he looked like a mess, but he also looked hot.

Jin walked in, by now Jimin joined his brothers in crying. Jungkook had taken his Chimmy plush and slobbered all over it, making the oldest boy sob at the sight of his toy.

As soon as Jin walked into the living room he had both twins attached to his legs. He chuckled and picked up Jimin, placing him on his hip and ruffling Tae's hair.
