That's when I decided to shut up.

What in the world was I doing in this university? How did I get accepted? Wasn't I some dumbass who didn't even have a brain?

Yet, I'm in this prestigious university where their happened to be very young professors. I felt so idiotic all of a sudden.

Giving Hoseok a small smile, I turned back to the screen, gulping nervously.

Suddenly, I felt so out of place, and I had no idea what to do or feel. Glancing back at my computer screen, I decided to click on the google chrome browser to log into our student portal.

'SOCIO 250 - SOCIAL DETERMINANTS OF HEALTH' - the black bold font clearly stood out from the white background powerpoint slide.

Right, I was in a health class. A similar class I tried to take at my previous school, but then had a nervous breakdown and dropped out.

Just thinking about my past semester gave me the chills.

Focusing on my breathing, sounds of laughter began to subside, as the lights began to dim.

Heart slightly racing, realizing I was in a completely different environment, I looked directly at the professor.

The young professor.

"I'm Professor Kim." The tone of his voice, threw me off guard, considering it was much lower than expected. My eyes widened as if it were an automatic response.

Dressed well, blonde hair giving an aura, I took note of his appearance. If hoseok was 23, and apparently this professor was a year younger than him, that makes him 22. Therefore, that makes him a year older than me. He was ONLY a year older than me.

That was not cool.

"Welcome to Social Determinants of Health. I have posted the course syllabus on the student portal, download the PDF since I will be walking you through what I'll be looking for in this class." His calm presence was quite intriguing.

I looked back at my screen, clicking towards the student portal as soon as I could.

The PDF was now displayed through adobe reader, and I went to the second page of the course syllabus, to mimic the slide now posted on the large projector screen.

"This is boring as hell..." Hoseok groaned, clicking his pen with a 2-3 second interval. "I didn't pay nearly 600 000 won for this class just to review the course syllabus, when it's practically common sense. Each class mattersss." Due to his immense disappointment, his emotions took over and little did he realize that he was quite vocal about his appointment.

His voice had overpowered the professor, which caused Mr. Kim to stop speaking.

Eyes turned towards our direction and my heart raced once again.

MY mind went blank, and face began to flush red with embarrassment. Immediately, I avoided eye contact with practically every student in the class, staring at my keyboard. I tried my best to make it seem I had no conversation with this random student only a few moments back.

Thankfully the screen went black on my laptop, therefore, the light was no longer reflecting against my face.

Oh shit shit shit.

Why did Hoseok have to say that?

"Care to teach the class Mr. Jung?" Hoseok was puzzled at the sudden glances at him, since he too was unaware how loud he was.

"What?" Hoseok spoke, half confused and surprised the professor was focusing on the dance instructor.

Timidly, I glanced back at the professor, only to see a stern expression, lips almost curving to a slight frown of disappointment.

LIterally 2 minutes into the lecture, and the professor was interrupted by the whiny bastard beside me.

"Each class matters correct?" Professor repeated the words with a slight mocking tone. One had to be aware of the social que, of what the difference is between mocking/judgement versus repeating another person's statement for clarification.

The difference was so subtle, many may have thought the latter.

"Yes. It definitely should be worth the money." Hoseok now challenged, as if he were talking to someone close to his age, which was literally the case. But did he not realize that, at least in this class room environment, there was that level of respect needed?

Sure, hoseok may be a teacher in another class, but he was a student in this class.

He shouldn't be so disrespectful to the professor!

A string of curse words were let out under hoseok's breath once Mr. Kim said, "come to the front of the class." He had no way out.

I was worried for hoseok.

"Jesus fucking christ." Hoseok groaned quietly, putting his belongings in his backpack, almost stuffing it in with force. He left his backpack on his chair. Exiting out of our seated row, all eyes trailed after him as he went down the stairs towards the podium.

I took this moment to observe his figure from the back. Yes I know, it was not the right time.

But he definitely had a dancer's body, and it was quite interesting to observe.

"Mr. Jung, please explain to the class what assessment we have, the objectives of this course, what each assignment is worth, and components of our final exam."

Hoseok smirked in disbelief, not believing that he was put on the spot. The stance of his body reflected the irritation the man was starting to feel, as the professor stood calmly beside him.

His patterned full-sleeved floral shirt looked oddly satisfying with his retro vibe glasses.

I wasn't sure, but it seemed that Taehyung could pull off any outfit. Could he?

This wasn't the time to think about that!

My thoughts broke off, as Hoseok interrupted with his now mocking tone, "Are you seriously asking me this?"

"Well, it's a waste of time to go over it in class correct?" The professor spoke, "so that must mean that you already have reviewed the syllabus?"

Hoseok sighed forcefully, placing his hands on his hips, then licking his lips.

"You uploaded it this morning." Hoseok huffed forcefully.

Was it weird to say that Hoseok looked oddly attractive when he looked pissed?

"Exactly, so you had about 1.5 hours to review it." Mr. Kim spoke calmly, as if not fazed by the angry man.

What was going to happen next?
