The best thing in life is finding someone who knows all your mistakes and weaknesses and still thinks you're amazing.

No matter how far apart they were, they were always under the same sky. After all, Distance couldn't separate what's meant to be.

Preeta was sitting on the backseat of her car, her head resting on the window.

Preeta(in mind): Trust me Karan.. Hum perfect jodi hain.. Bas hamaari situation perfect nahi hai..

She closed her eyes and let her tears flow.

Her memories sneaked out of her eyes and rolled down her cheeks.

Dad: Preeta..

Preeta quickly wiped away her tears. That's what she could do, wipe away the tears not the pain in her heart.

Preeta: Haan dad?

Dad: Dekho.. Iss saal tumhaari board exams hai.. Isiliye we can't move from the country before it.. Tum ek kaam karo.. Externally exam dedo..

Preeta nodded.

Preeta: Par tab tak rahenge kahaan?

Dad: Hotel mein kisi bhi..

Preeta: Okay Dad.. Mein form online bhar doongi..

On the other side,

Srishti: Unbelievable! Preeta ne un chudailon ko thappad maara aur itna suna ke gayi..

Sameer: I know.. Uska behavior kal se changed lag raha tha.. Kal bhi sunaake gayi thi Sherlyn ko

Karan: Achha hai na.. Woh apna stand khud lena sikh rahi hai.

Shrishmeer nodded. The trio were off to Preeta's home which was no longer hers, but a mere house.

Karan(seeing the door): Aa gaye..

Srishti(ringing the bell): Usko bohot sawaal poochne baaki hai..

A man came there.

Man: O.. Bachho.. Yahaan kya kar rahe ho? Chalo ghar jao..

Srishti: Uncle hum apni friend se milne aaye hain..

Man: Kaunsi friend?

Sameer: Preeta arora.. Yahaan pe hi toh rehti hai..

Man: Rehti thi.. Mein broker hoon.. Raghuveer ji ne mujhe yeh ghar becha hai.. Woh shift ho chuke hain..

They were shocked would be an understatement. They felt as if the ground slipped beneath their feet.

Karan(trembling): Shift ho gaye? Kab? Subah hi toh Preeta aayi thi school..

Broker: Unki dopahar ki flight thi.. Paris ki.. Tum logon ko nahi pata?

Srishti started laughing.

Srishti: Aap mazaak kar rahe hain na? Bataiye na.. Kahaan hai Preeta?

She broke down in tears while Sameer consoled her.

Karan(shocked): Aisa kaisa ho sakta hai? Woh hume chod ke kyun jaayegi.. Nahi.  Woh hume chod ke kabhi nahi jaayegi.. Aisa nahi ho sakta..

Broker: Aap log please bahaar jaiye.. Mere clients aate honge..

Karan helped Srishti to get uo and trio walked out with a heavy heart, having a last glance at the house, where they had spent so much time.

They were walking on the footpath, when their class teacher came running to them.

Teacher: Srishti, Sameer, Karan.. Preeta ne school chod diya.. Chodte time.. Tum teeno ke liye yeh gifts aur note chod ke gayi hai..
