There is no true love without jealousy.

A little jealousy is always healthy in a relationship. It's always nice to know, who is afraid to lose you.

Karan, Preeta and Sameer were sitting at the round table, busy talking to each other.

Karan saw Preeta smiling and laughing with a girl.

He got lost in her beautiful smile.

Preeta felt a gaze and looked at Karan.

The two shared an eyelock until  Monisha interrupted.

Monisha: Hey guys.. Tumhe apne group se milwaana chahti hoon.. Ek second.

Prithvi and Sherlyn come from behind, hand in hand.

Preeta took a sip of her cold drink and rolled her eyes, while smirking.

Sherlyn: Monisha.. Tumne bataaya nahi yeh (pointing towards Preeta) kaun hai? Bohot achha dance kiya..

Preeta laughs silently.

Prithvi: Baby.. I think koi superstar hai..

Preeta nods innocently, hiding her smile.

Monisha(annoyed): Guys.. Yeh.. Yeh.. Umm.. Preeta hai.. Wahi bachpan waali..

Sherlyn and Prithvi become speechless, only staring Preeta. Preeta snaps her fingers bringing them to reality.

Preeta: Kya hua? Kahaan kho gaye?

Prilyn(stammering): Na.. Nahi.. Woh.. Tum..

Monisha(interrupted): Guys.. Meri birthday party hai.. Maza toh aana chahiye na.. Let's play a game

Karan: You guys continue.. We'll leave.

Monisha holds his hand. Preeta gets jealous and widens her eyes.

Monisha: Tum mujhe mana karoge.. Woh bhi aaj ke din?

Karan: Par..

Preeta(signs him): Karan.. Thodi der ruk jaate hain na.. Maza aayega

Karan: Fine😂

Monisha stares Preeta totally annoyed.

Prithvi drags some chairs and joins the group.

Prithvi: Haan bolo.. Kya khelna hai?

Monisha was about to speak when Srishti comes to them.

Srishti(excited): Preeta tere Dad ka phone tha..

Preeta: Dad ka.. Kya bole woh?

Srishti sits and clears her throat.

Srishti(proudly): Toh unhone.. Mujhe.. The Srishti Arora ko.. Tumhaari shaadi ki zimmedari di hai.. Unhone mujhe tumhaare liye ladka dhoondhne ko bola hai.

Preeta stands up and looks at her in shock.

Preeta(shocked): What?

Srishti: Haan.. Aur tu kal se blind dates pe jaa rahi hai

Karan feels a tight knot settling in his neck and some sort of uneasiness.

He always wondered how a healthy heart could skip a beat.

His question was answered that day.

Karan: Blind Dates as in..?

Srishti: Arre.. Matlab.. I'll set her up with some of my friends.. Aur yeh apni marzi se pasand karegi..
