DEMI P.O.V.: I opened the coffee store's door and Nick waved from a table, I smiled at him and walked there.
Nick: hello Dem (he kissed my cheek)
Demi: hello
Nick: how's Mason?
Demi: umm he's fine, I bet you saw Joe's post...they seem to be having a good time together
Nick: Joe is crazy for Mason, really crazy
Demi: I know, he's cute with him (I said without thinking and Nick chuckled) what?
Nick: you said that-
Demi: I didn't mean it that way Nick...you know I didn't-
Nick: Demi (he grabbed my hand) we're best friends after all, we dated yea and I love you like you love me and of course we don't know what can happen in the future but I know how you feel for Joe cause I feel the same for Pri...you can tell me things about him and I won't judge and you won't judge me neither
Demi: yea, right (he smiles at me)
Nick: I actually have news to tell you
Demi: what is it?
Nick: I texted Pri this morning
Demi: you did?
Nick: yea and we talked a bit and I was thinking in asking her to meet me tonight to talk but I wanted your approval
Demi: m-my approval? Why would you want that? You know I'm happy if you're happy...I think you should go for what makes you happy and it seems like she is what makes you happy
Nick: you don't know how much I love you (he said smiling big at me and I giggled sticking out ny tongue at him)
Demi: I love you too Nick...and I also think I'm gonna try to be closer to Joe and see what happens (he nodded)
Nick: if this is useful for you, he loves you still...he probably won't want to admit it yet but he does. I promise he does Dem, you just need to be patient with him
Demi: I have a feeling that you know things I don't...am I right?
Nick: there are a lot of things that happened around the time he left that I know...but I can't be the one saying them, he needs to say that himself...I hope you don't hate me for not telling you
Demi: is something big? (He nodded and shrugged)
Nick: I think it is and if it helps, I'm gonna try to convince him to tell you soon about it
Demi: alright, thank you Nicholas (he smiled slightly at me and I smiled back at him)
