DEMI P.O.V.: I knocked on the door and Denise opened.

Denise: hello Demi, come in...we were waiting for you

Demi: thank you (I greeted her and we walked into the dinning room. I waved at everyone and they smiled at me) hi guys

Everyone: hello (I walked to Joe's side and sat there next to him, in front of Priyanka and kissed Mason's head)

Demi: hello baby, mommy missed you a whole lot (he giggled when I kissed his neck and I smiled at Joe) how was him?

Joe: as always, it's a pleasure

Demi: that's amazing

Joe: how was the interview?

Demi: pretty good

Joe: I'm glad (I nodded and we had lunch talking about random things) oh umm...guys, can someone take care of Mason tonight?

Denise: I would love to but we have your father's cousin's birthday

Joe: oh okay...don't worry

Nick: I can...I'm free

Demi: would you? It'd be amazing cause he already knows you well to stay with you some hours (Nick smiled nodding)

Nick: of course, it'd be awesome to do it. I love that kid

Joe: thanks man, you're the best

Priyanka: I can also help Nick tonight in case you need something (she said to Nick and he smiled sweetly at her)

Nick: yea, that'd be great (I looked at Joe and he winked at me)

We stood in their house until the late afternoon and I gave Mason to Nick.

Demi: okay, listen...this are his things, you know what he likes, he can't sleep if he-

Nick: doesn't drink milk

Demi: yea and he has his favorite stuff animal...it's the-

Nick: fish, I know Demi...you can calm down, he'll be okay, I've spent months with him, remember? (I nodded and hugged Mason tightly)

Demi: I promise I won't take too long baby, be kind and don't worry about anything, uncle Nick and auntie Pri will do the best job ever (I kissed his cheek several times and gave him to Joe)

Joe: I'll see you soon baby, I love you...have fun (he kissed Mason's head and Nick picked him while Priyanka grabbed his bag)

Priyanka: Dem, don't worry, he'll be fine

Nick: go to your house, get ready and have fun...we'll be fine (he said grabbing Mason's hand)

Demi: okay...bye (I waved at them and got into the car with Joe. He drove silently to the house and parked there when we arrived)

Joe: I'll pick you up in two hours, okay?

Demi: okay, I'll see you then...Joe, do you think he'll be fine? (He chuckled and squeezed my hand)

Joe: Nick is so overprotective, he won't let anything happen to Mason...and Pri is there too

Demi: yea, you're right (he nodded and I kissed his cheek) I'll see you soon then

Joe: yes

Joe: bye freckles (I smiled and walked out of the car to the front door)
