Crash

Pearl's POV

We where back on the road and they still didn't trust Amethyst, they also don't know it's her name.

I was gonna tell them and show them the papers, but then they'd see the other notes.

About her powers and stuff, and that'd only scare them more.

Right now it's me and Amethyst in the back of the truck, I was looking at my bite mark.

My skin started turning green and purple around the bite, it was burning up, and it hurt like hell. Amethyst scooted closer to me to look at it I guess.

"What happening to you hand" she said kinda quiet "nothing Amethyst, but don't worry about me" I smiled weakly at her.

The sun was going down and it was getting colder, which I didn't mind it made the bite hurt less.

I sighed and looked up at the sky and just stared up wishing for these zombies to be a bad dream.

I eventually fell asleep listening to the humming of the truck.

Amethyst's POV

I looked up and Pearl was sleeping I think, I looked down at the binds on my arms.

I started to move my arms around and try to get it off.

I was doing this for probably an hour before the truck stopped. I heard the other people getting out the truck and walking into a building.

A tall girl walked over and I had moved and covered Pearl's hand, the tall girl tapped Pearl.

Pearl shuffled around before looking at the lady with half opened eyes.

"I'mma sleep out here, Opal...just come get me in the morning" she said tired, the girl named Opal laughed "keep this with you" she put a strange boomerang on Pearl's lap.

She then left and went inside, I looked at Pearl then at the hill that it looked like we'd roll down any second.

I lean on Pearl and closed my eyes and went to sleep like Pearl.

Pearl's POV

I woke up cause I think someone was hitting me, I opened my eyes and I wasn't in the truck anymore.

I was on dirt and Amethyst looked worried, I tried to sit up and speak but she shushed me.

I heard groans and crunching leaves, I peaked out and then I realized the situation.

The truck must have rolled down the hill last night, flipped over, and the crash must've drawn the attention of the zombies near by.

From what I remember Opal gave me a gun last night, I looked around and saw it arms length away, out side the cover of the truck.

I then realized that I had no way out and if my arm got stuck I was done for, I kept calm to keep my blood from flowing to much.

I looked at Amethyst "we'll be fine, okay" she noded a little then looked at the gun and pointed to it.

I shook my head "to risky, I can't have you get bit and I really don't want to be bit again" I whispered to her.

I then looked at my hand and it didn't burn, it looked awful though. I looked back at Amethyst who had the gun in her mouth.

She dropped it infront of me and I slowly picked it up to see it wasn't outside anymore.

I held the gun close to me then, the truck moved down more making the space we where stuck in tighter.

I looked around and more zombies crowded around the left side of the truck. I looked at Amethyst then started to undo the binds on Amethyst's shirt.

"Follow me, okay" I whispered to her and she noded in response, we crawled out of a slightly bigger hole on the right.

Amethyst went first then me, once we where out I realized HOW many zombies where here.

I grabbed Amethyst's hand she was shaking and I was too, they started to creep closer and I pulled Amethyst closer as I shot the close ones in the head.

Amethyst let out a whimper of fear, a zombie grabbed my bit hand and tried to bit me.

Amethyst screamed and the wind picked up and the zombies head blew clean off, I looked around and these purple balls formed around the zombies.

I looked at Amethyst and she glowed bright purple and the beams of light shot in every direction.

I dropped to the ground and covered my head, after the beams stopped the remaining unharmed zombies where crushed inside the purple orbs.

After it had gone quiet I looked at Amethyst who was still glowing but I went and hugged he anyways.

She tensed but then relaxed and then everything went back to normal.

I looked around at the scorched trees and grass, I stood up and gently took Amethyst's hand.

We started to walk but didn't get far when everyone ran over the hill.

Jasper was first down the hill "NOOOO MY TRUCK" she ran to her truck and fell to her knees "WHO DID THIS TO YOU".

I laughed at her a bit and then looked at Opal and the others, "what the hell happened" Lapis said looking at the zombies and the scorch marks.

I shrugged "we should go, whatever it was was loud and will bring more" I said changing the subject.

They agreed and it took and extra few minutes to drag Jasper away from her truck.

We got to the house which was boarded up, Amethyst wasn't next to me at the time and my bite had started hurting again.

The house was in good shape, there was also lots of space in the house.

AKA plenty of places for Amethyst to wonder off too and unintentionally screw me.

I was in my room when Amethyst and Lapis walked in, "So we've decided she'll sleep with you, you trust her the most".

Well that solves that I guess.

I noded and Amethyst walked over and the bite stopped hurting.

I smiled at Amethyst and she smiled back "well Amethyst, you wanna work on English" I asked pulling out a book I'd found earlier.

"Heck ya I wanna speak English" she said in an excited tone "You gotta speak English, Amy" I said with a laugh.

"Okay, I want speak English too" she said trying her best to speak English, I smiled "good enough, now come learn" I smiled tapping the bed next to me.
