Pearl's POV

We approached the town with caution, and avoided cars in case a zombie was hiding under it.

Garnet says we can't afford for anyone else to get bitten and those seperaped from the group will have to get a full body check when they get back.

New Rules....yay

I felt Amethyst tug on my arm and I looked down at her "something wrong" I asked "somethings coming" she pointed down the street.

I looked at her then squinted, there was a huge truck moving down the road and I hadn't noticed it cause it looked broken down.

"We need to hide" I said and pointed out the moving vehicle, Lapis and Garnet usured us into a gas station.

We hid behind shelves and the cashier counter, we watched as the truck slowly passed by and we then heard a loud bang.

Bismuth peeked out and quickly moved back "there coming in here" she whispered loud enough for the six of us to hear.

As one man entered we would all slowly shuffle around the shelves to not be seen, but me and Amethyst weren't so lucky.

I heard a click and looked up to see the barrel of a gun, I squeezed Amethyst hand "get up" the guy ordered.

Me as Amy stood up and I saw him look back at her "hey, your the one on their looking for huh, they'd pay a lot of money to the person who turns you in" he chuckled.

"You ladies here alone" he asked looking around, I could see Opal out of the corner of my eye "yes, it's just us" I said.

I know it was probably stupid idea to lie but, if they are bad people I can't risk the whole team getting caught.

He walked us outside "look what I found" he laughed "oooh jackpot" another man laughed, they where acting like we where some type of prize.

They pushed us into the car and I could feel Opal's glare as I sat in the middle with Amy on my lap and two guys on both sides of us.

They looked at us like we where treasure and talked about us like we weren't even there.

"You guys talk to much" Amethyst said clearly and they all stopped "the hell'd you say tiny one guy growled.

"Are you deaf, I said you guys talk to much" she said with a straight face, the vehicle then came to an abrute stop.

"LISTEN HERE YOU LITTLE SHIT, DONT YOU EVER IN YOUR LIFE TALK TO US LIKE THAT" he yelled at her and seemingly she still seemed unfazed.

"Already did" she said and I was just hoping she would stop antagonizing them, "Everyone get the hell out the car, I gotta teach someone some damn manners" he growled and everyone got out.

They made a circle and one guy held me and Amethyst stood on one side of the circle while that man stood on the other side.

Amethyst's POV

I'm not sure what he was doing but he picked up a bat "gonna teach you a thing or two" he laughed.

I feel like I should be scared, but I've never been scared before. Is it bad that I've never been scared, fear is just a stupid thing I'm sure.

Dr Sanchez said I'm not stupid so maybe that's why I'm not scared because fear is stupid.....right?
