LUCY'S POV

After that was said by me, I could feel the rage surging in my veins.

" now might be a good time to escape." I growled, looking down to my hands.

My skin was now dark blue and I could feel my body growing taller.

I knew from experience my eyes were red and I was covered in a blue electric atmosphere.

" uh...Lucy?" I heard Emma ask.

I could sense the fear in all of them.

" someone..calm..me..down....quick." I manage to stutter out.

" what's going on?" Jane asked quietly.

" I'm turning into...her....." I breath, trying to calm my heart rate.

Natasha was in the cage closest to me.

" Lucy. Listen to me. You need to calm down. Think of...think of....Steve!" She said quickly.

That's exactly what I did. I pictured his face in my mind and remembered all the times and moments we've had together.

My body was shrinking and my skin slowly turned back to the normal colour, my rage suddenly calmed down.

" we'll now that you've calmed down. How do we get out?" Brittany asked.

" wait wait wait." Jane started." Get out? Aren't we gonna wait for the guys?"

I shook my head and stood." Sure you guys can stay and wait for your boyfriends, but I'm getting out of here." I say, concentrating on all the power.

I needed the electricity. But this time it was harder then the last time I was here.

Sucking the energy out last time was easy, for they had no idea what I was capable of then, but now, it's different. They know what I can do.

This time I have to do it the hard way, which might be painful.

I put my hands out in front of me and squeezed my eyes shut.

I concentrated on the energy surrounding the cage and closed my hands into fists, the energy pulling from the force field, Into my body.

I fell to the ground and clutched my chest, my breathing getting ragged.

Suddenly hearing the door burst open and familiar figures bursting in, I pushed myself off the ground, forgetting my pain.

I would not let them rescue me.

Sizing up the glass, I backed up and readied myself to jump through.

I slammed into the glass and it shattered easily.

I fell to the ground on my face and groaned as the glass dug into every part of my body.

Footsteps were heard next to my ears as someone bent down to my level.

" for an agent of shield for almost three years and a major part of it too, your pretty unstable."

I stood up and brushed myself off." Well you were too busy admiring yourself to notice I sucked all the energy out of the force field and now I'm weak." I growled to Steve, pushing past him and towards the door.

Running out into the hallway, I was surrounded by thirty six guards.

Just as I had expected.

I sucked the electricity from the lights and shot it at all of them, electrocuting every single one of them.

After I had finished I stepped over the bodies and towards the deck, which looked right over the Indian Ocean.

I peeked over the side and bit my lip.

I prepared to jump but stopped as a bullet zoomed past my ear.

Turning around I pulled out a gun, but almost dropped it seeing how many people were there.

I counted mentally and counted 700 men all standing and pointing their guns at me.

I shrugged and shot my gun at one, killing him instantly.

I dodged another and flipped over while shooting.

Suddenly I heard someone come beside me and I saw Steve with his shield standing beside me.

" I told you. I don't need protecting." I hissed.

He nodded and threw his shield at someone.

" I know." He whispered.

He grabbed me by the waste suddenly and and jumped off the cliff.

I clung onto him tightly as we dived into the ocean.

Resurfacing , I turned to look at Steve.

" your such a freak." I gasped.

Even though i did not mean it.

He smirked and swan closer.

" but I saved you." He suggested.

I rolled my eyes and started to swim towards land.

" where do you think your going?" He called.

I stopped looked at him with an eyebrow raised." I'm getting to land so I can teleport us. Geez Steve, catch up." I groaned with a playful smirk on my lips.

Minutes later i were on land, Steve on the other hand, was dragging himself onto land.

I tapped my foot impatiently as I waited for him. Once he made it to me I hesitated before grabbing his hand and teleporting us to the base.

As soon as we made it, I let go of his hand." Sorry." I muttered.

He laughed lightly and tilted my head to look at him." Don't be."

I smiled and stared into his eyes.

" there's, something I have to tell you, I might as well now, before I lose this chance."

I raised an eyebrow and stuffed my hands in my pockets.

He rubbed the back of his neck nervously." Well, why don't I just show you."

He pressed his lips against mine almost cautiously.

I was caught by surprise but slowly kissed back, my hands going around his neck. His hands made their way to my hips .

I suddenly smiled against his lips as I realized what was happening.

" umm...am I interrupting something?"
