Everything spun in my head. Sam's horrible behavior towards me, this happenstance, my whole, weird-ass trip. My mom was probably very worried at this point. How should I tell them? they aren't sensible at all, at least for now when they're skeptical and suspicious of me. I don't think they're very pleased about having me here either. I felt that I've wrecked their plans and mission in search of another treasure hunt. I watched how eagerly Nate is munching on the tip of the walkie-talkie while forecasting the map that was unfolded on the table.

"I'm sorry..." I muttered. They were eyeing me now.

"For what?" Nate asked. He seemed to be the meek one among them. Maybe I could control his soft heart to free me, but no. I ain't that type who plays with other's feelings. I got consciences. I, therefore, decided to give him an authentic answer.

"For ruining your schedule such as exploring a new place."

Nate raised his brows. "Who has told you that we're on a hunt?" He was playing a role now. A role of a dumb person.

"Aren't the supplies on the table enough definition of a treasure hunt? And, with two others who happen to be an adventurer too, tagging along with you?"

Nate let out a brief laugh. It was a laugh of 'you got me this time'.

"I don't know who you are, where you come from, but, you seem to be well-informed about us and what we do in general."

I nodded. "Listen, I don't want to harm you guys. Whether u trust me or not, I'm telling the truth. I just don't see how it could be proven. The pic is taken with my camera while I played this mission in Madagascar. I haven't published it anywhere. Trust me! I..."

I abrupted myself. It's a pointless continuation of admitting the truth. Right then, smokey Sam entered the "chatroom" and regained back to his seat. I snorted, distastefully at his earlier gesture. A vapor of obnoxious smoke and scent followed along and evaporated the entire room. That wasn't beneficial for my head as it worsens my throbbing headache.

*45 minutes later*

After a long stillness, Nate finally broke it by saying, "We've got to bring her with us."

"What?!!" Sam and Sully burst out. "There's no way we take her with us!" Sam spat the disagreement words out.

"Do we have another choice here Sam?! She's literally aware of everything, what would you do? Let her go and get the cops on us?!"

The Drake brothers opposed each other, man to man, while poor Sully tried to stop their quarrel, but dropped the ball. My chance to take the turn and to make a move.

"Stop it! Both of you!" I shouted, and luckily, they ended up the fight. "I would say that Nate's idea has been approving so far. I won't be troublesome or problematic, however, we can sort it out diplomatically, right guys? Now, cut me loose."

Nate took the knife and got up midway when Sam stopped him, looking at me.

"In one condition. Even though I refuse this idiotic idea, having you in our team, but, as long as you stick with us, and girl, don't you ever attempt to play any trick on us or you will face hell, understood?!"

I nodded. Why tho? I couldn't accept the fact that these are the characters from the Uncharted game, and still referred to a hallucinating maniacal dream blaming the drink they served me earlier. But, these characters or men, however, were armed. Equipped with dangerous and harmful weapons. Besides, they were much stronger and triple the size of me. I had to listen and obey without further ado.

Sam snatched the knife from Nate and paced towards me and behind the chair to free me.

As soon as I got free, I massaged my wrists. A white mark had emerged where the band was fastened around my wrists.

I look at them and they at me. I didn't know what to do. I was glad that they finally did the right thing, maybe I won their trust. Maybe, they felt sorry for me, nevertheless, I perceived that they aren't cold-blooded if they're the same people from the game, which I hardly believe. But, we're going somewhere, step by step. Now, one thing remained, to go downstairs, with their permission, of course.

"So Uhm... I think I need to go down to the bar. I forgot something important down there," I say determined, unaware of what they gonna respond to that.

"Oh no, I'm afraid you're not going anywhere. Just because we cut you loose, doesn't mean you're free to stroll around wherever you want," Nate explained.

"Stroll? Is this a park or what? I do need to go downstairs. Are you going to stop me to visit the bathroom to fulfill my needs too? I don't need a guard!"

"Sssh," Sam hushed me as he lowered his hand in the air.

"You shush!" I rise up rashly off the chair. "I forgot something important down there, which part of this sentence don't you understand?!"

Sam throws himself up too right away. "You ain't going nowhere! Now, which part is not comprehensible to you?!" His height was almost reaching the ceiling. I felt like an ant and he a grizzly bear above me.

I put my hands on my hips. My brows were stitched together as I stare madly at him with my head arched upon him. He was mad as well, about my existence as a whole.

"Cut it, you too!" Nate yelled. "Sully is gonna accompany you. We can't leave you out of sight, that's the rule we play."

I lean my head to the side of Sam to face Nate. Presumably, this fella won't move a bit. Stubborn, annoying shit.

I look back at Sam's face. My eyes wandered around his visage. His brown bushy brows with a few white strands in it. His stunning eyes, I could see them more clearly now from near. It was glowing. The colors, how could I describe it? It was extraordinary, phenomenally brown, but no, somehow yellow, neither of that! The colors were merged, a color I recognize, I've seen and tasted. I could feel it on my taste buds, a sweetened flavor of flowers and beeswax, reminded me of... honey.

Astoundingly, I had dived into his eyes that I forgot the surrounding, that I was mad and that I was here, cuz I wasn't. I was in an ocean of pure honey. The sweetening washed the bitterness away in me. It was like an enthralling place of eternity that you wouldn't mind if you stayed.

"Hey!" I heard someone say, and snapped me out of my dreamy realm of beauty. "Are you still with us?"

I jumped back to reality.

"Make up your mind, stay or go downstairs?" It was Nate that savage who cracked my moment there.

"Yes..."

I didn't glare back at him but instead did smooth out my bathrobe, preparing to go downstairs with Sully who's standing beside the door.
