"Everybody gets their packing done, including you", Nate continued his former speech. "I will personally follow you to bring your stuff here".

Sam and Sully started to collect their things, me on the other hand, followed Nate back to my crib.

We didn't speak much on our way there and back. I believed that there was a lot going on in his head. After all, he's the main leader, the "foreman" and they're workers who help him on the road. I'm just the typical trainee, who's confusingly trying to learn everything in a new place among new people.

Simply, I gather my things back into my luggage, and we leave the room by locking the door behind us.

The card key had to be returned to the receptionist tomorrow morning. They will probably get surprised as for leaving this place in advance not only alone this time, but with the accompany of three beefy men, triple the size of me. I had to come up with something urgently to tell the personnel, otherwise, these three goons will have to deal with that. Surely, they could fix everything. I'm too tired to think of problems that may occur tomorrow. All happened too fast to fall into deep thoughts and analyses, processing everything. That would have come to later, now I had to concentrate on the main issue, namely them and the trip.

I left my luggage in the corner next to the door and placed my beloved camera that they didn't appreciate at the beginning, on my suitcase, and finally rested on the couch. Sam and Sully were still busy. What did they even need to pack tho? I mean, Sully only wears them fusion Hawaiian shirt, likewise, Sam who only needs a Denim jacket and pack of cigarettes. They made it look so difficult. I couldn't help but giggle secretive.

I was starting to loosen up a little, to be honest, is that how you say it? Whatever, these men weren't so intimidating anymore, strangely enough, maybe because they've accepted me in their "pack", as wolves do. The tension in my neck and shoulder released a little. During this time, I had unconsciously been straining and tightening up my shoulders cuz of fear and nervousness around them. That's the inherent human survival instinct called positive stress which is good for us to face and defeat our enemies. That's what our ancestors did in the caves. Except for, they aren't my enemies anymore but more likely "buddies", and I actually did bitch slap Sam to self-defense, well, it felt good to express my anger on him sort of way.

Nate picked up his phone and disappeared into the bedroom. He was already done as to how organized he is.

"Tomorrow before 7", Sully sighed, resting on the couch after a so-called "intense" packing.

"Wait, before or after breakfast?" I ask to assure myself.

I heard Sam scoff in the background.

"We aren't going on a "shopping trip" that u feel to have a posh breakfast. We're going on an unsafe adventure. Seemly, your brain is too "clever" to understand that", he uttered sarcastically.

"At least I have one. Yours is probably burnt into ashes."

"It's lungs which burn into ashes, smartass."

"Do you even got any?"

"Hey u two!" Nate stopped us all of sudden, coming back from the bedroom. "Decide where y'all should sleep. We've got a long day ahead."

"I'm going for the bed", Sully insisted immediately as he rose back to his feet, walking his way to the bedroom.

"Right. Sam?"

"I'm not staying here for sure. I accompany Sully", he said, moving along. "You ain't sure if you gonna be alive next day u wake up next to her, you know."

"That's hella fine to me. I would rather be dead than having a smoker next to me anyway."

"Could you both stop!? Or is that an unfamiliar phenomenon?" Nate grabbed a tablet jar out of his bag. "Unbelievable that I have to eat sleeping pills cuz of you two woodpeckers."

I look at Nate. I somehow feel sorry for him now, despite the bizarre demeanor earlier. You feel at ease when you talk with Nate. He's like a disciplined dog, and with Sam? pfff, it's like having a monolog instead of a dialog. Unbearable to communicate with.

"Is your brother always this frustrating?"

Nate didn't answer my question, he threw a blanket at me and went to sleep.

The sound of the clock on the wall rung in my ear, tick tock tick tock. Never did I find it bothersome until now. The rays of the moon shone right on it. It was showing 12.30 am and we're supposed to get up before 7.

Nate was snoring a little. It sounded funny, although, I couldn't see him at all cuz of the darkness. He sure is sleeping deeply. I turn sideways to try to sleep as well, but as soon as I was shutting my lids, I heard a lightly, squeaky sound that lasted quickly. My eyes open wide, but I couldn't see a damn thing. I pull the blanket closer to my face, under my nose, and heard quiet footsteps, which was coming from the bedroom Sam and Sully were supposed to be sleeping.

My heart rate speeded up and my eyes finally adapted to the dark. The door was half-opened. Someone has gotten out. Another sound like a fridge door opening and the items such as bottles, clinking quickly.

I raise my head over the back of the sofa and saw the light, coming from the fridge, glowing straight on a bare upper body. A lean but yet toned and stiff body shape was highlighting my vision. My eyes wandered upon his face. I saw how his sturdy masculine throat moved along every time he shoved the water down his throat. Damn, I was speechless. Never had drinking water looked so good on anyone. I was mesmerized. He closed the refrigerator door softly.

I regained to my position, faking to sleep as I heard them steps steadily pace towards the bedroom, but somehow it stopped. What now? I thought to myself, wondering why he didn't continue. I felt a brief, thin cold air, passing by. The steps continued ahead and to the balcony door. I adjust my head to have a peek. His height and broad-shouldered silhouette in the moonlight rays looked so goddamn hot.

A weak, orange-yellowish flame emphasized the otherwise dark room. He steps onto the balcony and closes the door halfway. I rest my chin on the armchair, glaring at this hypnotizing view. The way his shoulder blades arched while he rested his weight on his hands that were firmly holding the balcony rail. The shadow of the rays distinguished on his toned back. The well-trained tissues underneath his matured, rough skin that has gone through tough and hard times, leaving scratches, wounds, and other sensitivities that have come of to his age.

I sigh, mousey.

Could this be the best 10 minutes of my life? Too bad that we had to start our relationship with quarrels and fuss. If this is the real Samuel Drake as in the game, I had so many thoughts and questions. I wanted to know everything about him. His childhood, his youth, the time he got imprisoned in Panama jail and before that. His favorite artist, movie, or food. His likes and dislikes, his favorite song, his taste in women, and so much more. Well, I already knew his bio, partially, but that isn't enough.

I saw him turning around, and I quickly laid my head back on the armchair, hoping he didn't see me. I bit my lower lip, thinking of the exceptional canvas I was glancing at, portrayed with the most unique person on this existing planet. He's like an art, a memorable art. It was one of those kinds of art that will stick to your brain, forever and always. Those you could only look at but don't touch.

My eyelids were straining to keep me awake. I was keen to know what would happen next, but my eyes couldn't fight against my heavy lids. Unconsciously, I fell into a deep, awaited sleep.
