Jasmine
Last night's show was amazing. "Is anybody sitting there?" A male voice asks me, it sounds so warm, so comforting. "Nope it's open." I say smiling up at his handsome face, his light grey eyes accented by the soft sunlight on his back. "Thanks, I'm Ryan." He says smiling at me and sits down. "Jasmine." He smiles. "You don't remember me do you?" He says and then I remember him at C's parties, Riley and him didn't get along very well when they got older, because of me. "Ryan! I'm sorry!" I blurt out loud and he chuckles knowing what I'm talking about. "It's not your fault he enabled your issues." I face him. "You know me and Bear are in recovery now." He smiles and hugs me. "That's great Rose." He says and we see Cory coming to us. That's when I feel my heart speed up. I can't like him, he's my brother. "Ryan Jason Styx what's up homie?" He says hugging him. "Just visiting my girlfriend you remember Kelly?" We both nod. Damn that stupid smirk, I bite my lip looking down, trying to avoid Cory's gaze. "Well I must be off, nice seeing you two." He smiles as he walks off. "What's up with you dear?" He asks. "I think I love you." I mumble but he heard me. He smiles and stands up, grabbing my hand. Then we start dancing, then he starts singing. "I wish that you and I lived in the Sims
We could build a house and plant some flowers and have kids
But we're both at some trashy Halloween party downtown
And I'll probably never see you again
I wish that we lived on a VHS
I'd erase the things I said and that I'll probably say again
Hit rewind on all the times I got lost in my head
But I guess I'll never see you again
I'll probably never see you again
Ooh, goddamn
I wish we would've met on another night, baby
Maybe, then
I wouldn't have let you leave me
Yeah, ooh, goddamn
I wish we would've met on another night, baby
In another life, baby
In another
I wouldn't have let you, I wouldn't have let you
I wouldn't have let you, I wouldn't have let
I wish that we met walkin' round the MoMA (MoMA)
Yeah, I'd say nice to meet you, 'stead of saying nice to know you
I'd try to impress you with some bullshit 'bout Monet
At least I wouldn't be too drunk to stay
And I wouldn't have let you slip away
Ooh, goddamn
I wish we would've met on another night, baby
Maybe, then
I wouldn't have let you leave me
Yeah, ooh, goddamn
I wish we would've met on another night, baby
In another life, baby
In another, uh
I wouldn't have let you, I wouldn't have let you
I wouldn't have let you, I wouldn't have let
I wouldn't have let you, I wouldn't have let you
I wouldn't have let you, I wouldn't have let
I wouldn't have let you, I wouldn't have let you
I wouldn't have let you, I wouldn't have let you leave me." He grabs my face. "Walking through the door of this old and lonely
Place that used to feel like us
Remembering the only thing that made me
Feel like I was worth the love
We used to hold hands, now I dance alone
We had Springsteen playing so loud
We danced in the dark 'til it felt like home
With you, home was anywhere
But you will never be left behind
Give me a moment, I need just a little more time
If I could, I would have made things right
But we can't go back to the way that we used to love
Never apart you're still running through my blood
But we can't go back to the way that we used to love
But we can't go back to the way that we used to love
We can't go back to the way that we used to
Be talking through the night, you laying by my side
You were always there to heal my scars
And into the dawn I do my best to try and find some sleep
But you still keep me up
We used to hold hands, now I dance alone
We had Springsteen playing so loud
We danced in the dark 'til it felt like home
With you, home was anywhere
But you will never be left behind
Give me a moment, I need just a little more time
If I could, I would have made things right
But we can't go back to the way that we used to love
Never apart you're still running through my blood
But we can't go back to the way that we used to love
We can't go back to the way that we used to
But I can't escape, you're still in my head
I'm running from, I'm running from the emptiness
But I can't escape, you're still in my head
I'm running from, I'm running from the emptiness
But I can't escape, you're still in my head
I'm running from, I'm running from the emptiness
But I can't escape, you're still in my head
I'm running from, I'm running from the emptiness
We can't go back to the way that we used to love." I sing and we stare in each other's eyes and flashbacks flash as he leans down and kisses me. "Whoa." I say when we pull apart. "How'd do you feel?" I sit at the fountain. "Like I always have, why did we breakup again?" He chuckles. "Age difference it's too big plus we fell in love with different people. I will admit I had a slight crush on you." We both laugh. "So what do I do now?" I ask. "What we do, we'll do nothing." He says and we start singing. "Ease my aching mind, it's only nature, making things unwind
Still I wanna stay right here in the moment
When nothing is broken, and every thing silent is suddenly spoken
And nobody has to change
Promise when you go, you'll sleep with the stars
Remember when the lights dim down
It's only the dark
The end is just the start
(The end is just the start)
Hold my hand and say that nobody's sure if all this goes away
Still, every thing that we believed in was worth it
And even uncertainty, it has a purpose however imperfectly
I'll never forget your face
Promise when you go, you'll sleep with the stars
Remember when the lights dim down
It's only the dark
The end is just the start
End is just the start
(The end is just the start)
Fly back soon and tell me what it's like
And I'll look for your letters in the sky
Believing isn't easy but I'll try
For you, anything for you
I promise when you go, you'll sleep with the stars
Remember when the lights dim down
It's only the dark
Promise when you go, you'll sleep with the stars
Remember when the lights dim down
It's only the dark
The end is just the start
The end is just the start
(The end is just the start)
The end is just the start
Remember when the lights dim down
It's only the dark." We then walk back to the hotel to eat dinner with Lea and CJ before the show starts.
