I created The Mythos with the intention for it to be an online text-based roleplay. It is considered an "open" universe, meaning that anyone I roleplay with can can add their own creations to this world–races, creatures, other lands and territories, and even religions and deities. Of course there is already an established lore (that I am still working on perfecting), but events in this world's history can be changed and influenced by specific actions taken during roleplays. Because I want anyone who's interested in the world to enjoy it and be comfortable with roleplaying in it, nothing that happens in individual or in group roleplays concerning The Mythos is permanent. Consider all roleplays that take place in The Mythos as their own individual alternate universes of the world.
