(I just now thought of this because I watched a tiktok like it Soo)

  What if Richie got stuck in the Deadlights when he was a kid but instead of floating he feels like he's his neilbolt self. Like he feels his mouth sewed together and he feels his face rotting but it's only him no one else. He's just stuck in this kinda daze trying to speak but can't. And none of the losers have no idea what's wrong because they can't see what Richie can. Richie can just see his friends worried but can't speak or move at all. Eddie is freaking out the most because Richies eyes are kinda just....blank. They're really lifeless but Richie himself is alive because he's standing. But his soul seems to be gone. Eddie starts having a full on panic attack and is freaking out. Even if they still have to fight a clown the only thing he's worried about right now is the statue of a Richie in front of him. While Richie is just staring at him confused because all Rich can see is a little Eddie in front of him who seems happy. All his friends seem happy without him speaking so he didn't understand why Eddie was grabbing his hands. He also couldn't hear anything and he felt himself slowly rotting away. Eddie couldn't handle this anymore and tried to breath but failed immensely. He accidentally dropped his inhaler on the ground and refused to use it. So Eddie ended up passing out from fear and the fact he could barely breath. After Eddie had let go of Richies hands Richie could finally see. The first thing he saw was Eddie falling over which he thought was strange. He hates germs didn't he? The next thing he knew he could hear as well. He heard his friends crying and screaming his name and Eddies. He also thought that was weird because he was fine, and He guesses Eddie just wanted to lay down. But the moment he could finally broke out of his daze, and he saw his little Eddie gasping for air barely being able to breath. He heard his friends crying and screaming and trying to get Eddie to use his inhaler. Well this is easy Richie thought still not knowing what had fully happened. So he just took out Eddies spare inhaler he always carried with him. He bent down and gently grabbed Eddies hands. He sprayed the inhaler into his mouth and pushed the hair out of his eyes. Eddie just stared at him and while Richie tried to say something he realized he mouth was sewed shut. He frowned a little but still feeling used to it. His friends on the other hand stared horrified. Richie thought nothing of it (of course when they left Neilbolt house he had only then realized he couldn't speak still. No adults could see his mouth shut though) he went on to fight the clown. After the fight The losers ended having to cut Richies mouth open but from then on, he hardly  even joked or made comments at all
