"Y/N shut up for a bit"

Y/N's POV

After having myself freed from Eujin and her minions, the electrical power in the building came back to life and the room was brightened once again.

I have to admit that I wasn't extremely terrified to be a hostage, because knowing the situation well, I've trusted Jungkook to be there for me when I'm in a crisis.

I know I seem like a burden but ever since the encounter I had with the filthy sick man near the beach, I could bet my whole fortune that Jungkook would somehow find me.

"Y/n, at this rate, I'm not just an acquaintance, but your bodyguard."

I was much more clueless on what we are.

I squinted my eyes under the light to have a good look at him, who was smiling at me as if I didn't heard the groans of the now unconscious people behind him.

"Give me your hand." He demanded softly, getting me caught up in my feels.

I was nervous for no reason. In fact, my anxiety was building up more than I was kidnapped.

I knew the room had very little or no ventilation at all, but for some reason, I felt extremely warm. My breathing started to pick up a pace. I wasn't aware about it until his hand engulfed into mine and pulled me upwards, causing me to wobble on my two feets.

"Y/n??" His fingers snapped in front of me.

"What happened? What did they do to you?" His face came close to check on my expressionless face while having our hands glued to each other.

The fine lines forming made my heart calmed. He was worried about me?

My legs became weaker as my heart raced like a lightning, he was too near that I could feel his warm breath brushing the top of my lips.

Out of all times, my legs decided to abandon me and failed to stood up, causing me to drop for a millisecond before Jungkook held both of my forearms steadily.

I was staring into his eyes in confusion the whole time. I was unsure why I was looking into his almond shaped eyes but one thing I know for sure, was that the emotion in me was responding.

I blinked for a couple of times as I regained consciousness and then proceeded to place my hands on his to remove them from my warm body.
