She noticed something was wrong when she woke up. Birds were singing, somewhere nearby, a bell tolled. There were no arguments going on about strongest in the guild or best flavor of cake. Lucy bolted upright and immediately went back down. Pain laced through her temples and her body was leaden. Gingerly, she turned her head to the little wooden bedside table. A glass of water was on it along with a few books about stars and magic. She reached for the glass and took a sip. She closed her eyes and let herself sink deeper into the mattress. It was so soft...so warm...

The scent of freshly brewed coffee tickled at her nose and she cracked an eye open. A very plump, gray-haired woman stood at the door with a platter of delicacies in her hands,
"Glad to see you awake dearie! We were all afraid you wouldn't wake up!"
Lucy studied her, trying to find any reason to distrust her, but failed, "What do you mean?"
"Well..." she frowned, "You'll want to eat and clean up first. I've already drawn up a bath for you, just let me know if you need anything dear, " She set the tray down on the table and patted Lucy's shoulder.
"Thank you, Miss...?"
"Oh my! I'm sorry, I haven't even introduced myself to you yet! My name is Glinda, I've lived in Rosewood for about twenty-eight? Nine? Years now? Oh, it's been quite a long time anyway. Ah I met my husband in that big city nearby and..."
Glenda's babbling faded in and out of Lucy's perception, "Rosewood..." she muttered to herself, "Where have I heard the name before?"
"You don't know..." Glenda muttered to herself more than to Lucy, "Well, dear, it's on the outskirts of Fiore!"
"Oh! I'm sorry I don't guess I remember much of anything at the moment," Lucy grimaced.
"That's alright dear, we'll let you stay with us until it all comes back to you. What do you remember so far? If you don't mind my asking, that is."
Lucy shifted under the warmth of the covers, "A pink haired boy...a black haired boy...and a blue cat...with wings!"
"I'll bet they were some friends of yours, or even family..."Glenda nodded, "Do you remember anything else? Your name, perhaps?"
"I uh... Yeah it's uh..." Lucy swallowed the lump rising in her throat. She didn't remember her name, but telling anyone she didn't know who she was would put her in an incredibly vulnerable position. Her eyes fluttered about the room as if the floorboards would give her an answer.
Glenda's expression softened, "It's alright dear, if you don't remember right now, I'm sure it'll-"
"Fullbuster!" Lucy exclaimed triumphantly, "Sorry, it's coming back. I'm Mrs. Fullbuster!"
The names had come to her out of nowhere, perhaps she could trace the name back to her family. She figured a last name would suffice until she could think of an appropriate first name.
