Chapter 8 'Goodbye means forgetting'

As we reached the hideout, Butchy stopped us.

"I'm gonna be honest to you I'm not a big fan of lighthouses, it's kinda a thing. Some people have snakes, some people have heights, for me it's lighthouses." He tried pushing through the crowd but SeaCat stopped him.

"Wo Wo you can do this, we're all with you, what do you say!!"

"Wow my fear is gone lets go!!" Everyone them ran past him except him... And me. I stood behind him with my arms crossed. He turned around and saw me. I waved mockingly and pushed him back. We all ran inside the lab. I did a front flip over a metal bar trying to find Mack and Brady. Everyone started braking stuff and having fun. Le Camembert was being chased by Giggled so I ran after them.

Brady

Bikers and surfers filled the room. Tanner and Lela walked past us.

"Lela!!" We shouted. She turned to us with a smile.

"Tanner??" We asked seeing them very close. What happened?  We weren't gone that long. He also turned to us.

"Mack, Brady"

"We're here to safe you" Lela stopped and hopped into Tanner's arms, smiling.

"Look at that, they got together all by them self." They turned back to us.

"We're here to safe you!" Tanner said... Again. Mack motioned towards the rope.

"Oh yeah" They suddenly remembered  and stared untying us. As they where nearly done Le Camembert ran past us, screaming with Skye on his back. He lost his balance and fell on the ground and Skye tied him up. She stood up, smiled and brushed the hair of out her face. She looked up and noticed me.

"Wow" I breathed never knew she could do something like that.

"Brady!" She shouted tackling me into a hug. Tanner pulled loos the last knot, making me able to hug her back. We let go of each other and tried looking for a way to stop the machine but when we finally found a way to stop it it went into self destruct mode. I took Skye's hand and ran out of the lighthouse. Just as we left it it exploded.

Mack and me appeared on the beach. We wore new clothes and the teens weren't there.

"What is this" Mack asked looking at her clothes. "How did we get here??" Then it hit me.

"It's exactly where we are suppose to be"

"The movies back on track?"

"Yeah"

"So we can leave" yeah we can... We away from each other towards the shack all the teens came running to out.

"You did it!! Girls can do anything boys can do" Lela stopped in front of us smiling happily.

Skye was walking in the back, not smiling like the others. She knows. Lela finally noticed the sad look on our faces.

"We gotta get back home"

"What??" She asked in disbelieve. "No stay, you'll love it here it's always just like this, perfect"

"Perfect" Tanner repeated to Mack.

"We're were going its perfect to, I'm gonna make sure of it" Mack smiled at me, assuring me she wasn't going to leave anymore, which made me feel a little bit better.

"You guys saved Big Momma's, and for that we are greatfully greatfull" Butchy said with a real smile

"Ever since you guys came here it's like a whole different world."

"It's not just because of us" Skye stepped forward. She didn't glance at me. Is she mad at me?? She walked to Mack and gave her her necklace.

"Friendship forever" Mack said close to tears. Skye nodded.

"Forever" She whispered, also close to tears. They hugged before she turned to me tears in her eyes.

"Skye I...." She cut me off by hugged me. I could feel the tears on my shirt. Was she crying?? She slowly pulled away and kissed me, full on the lips. It wasn't like the first kiss. This one was full of love and passion, not that the fist one wasn't like that, this one was more like a goodbye kiss, what it kinda was . She pulled away to breath.

"Don't forget me" She whispered resting her forehead against mine. I shook my head.

"I can't" I took of my surf necklace and handed it to her.

"And you don't forget me" She shook her head let out a small laugh and hugged me again before letting go again as SeaCat came up with our surfboard. Skye walked back to Tanner and he placed his  arm around her and she laid her head on his shoulder.

"Are you ready" Mack asked me. I nodded tearing myself away from Skye.

"Yeah" I took Mack's hand before running of to the beach with her surfboard under my arm. I looked back again to see Skye waving at us and crying.

"SURFS UP!!" We could hear Rascal shout making us all shout and squeal.
