Why Pick Me?

Chapter 4.

I got out of the bus and looked around. I didn't go back to Jacks bus, I wanted to but I don't think I could after talking to Cass and Juliet. I knew I liked him, I think he likes me too. I went back to Cassadee's bus. I knocked on the door and Juliet opened it.

"Hey! Whata you need?" She said with a big grin.

"Can I talk to you and Cassadee?" I asked.

"Yeah! Something up?" She looked worried as she let me on the bus.

"Kinda."

"Hey Madi!" Cass said hugging me.

"Hi Cass." I said, "Can I talk to you guys?"

"Of course." they both said.

"This morning, uhm, Jack he uh, kissed me." I said nervously. Both of them squealed.

"Did he really?!?!" Juliet screamed. I nodded. "No way!!!"

"He likes you." Cass said with a grin like Cheshire cat.

"Tell us what happened. And how!!! Juliet said. And I told them, I told from being on stage with him up to us coming to their bus. "Ahhhh!!!!" they both said flaying their arms everywhere.

"If you're going to be practically touring with them you have to look good for him." They both looked at each other and nodded. I was scared to what was happening next. Cass went to another room while Juliet was playing with my hair. "We are going to make you pretty. I mean you are now but better!" Juliet played with my hair for 20mins while Cass did my makeup. I don't usually wear makeup just mascara and eyeliner but they put everything on my face. When they were done I looked in the mirror and saw a whole other person, my hair was perfectly curly, my pimples were almost completely gone. I was about to wipe off the foundation they put on me but Cass said no. They pushed me out of the bus and followed me as I walked to Jacks bus. I knocked on the bus door and Jack opened it not even 10seconds later.

"Woo." he said looking up and down at me. I was blushing because of embarrassment. "You look great. Did you tell Cass and Juliet about our kiss?" I nodded. He looked out and saw them a little bit behind me. When they saw him they ran for their bus. "Hey what's wrong?" I wasn't very happy with all the makeup on my face.

"I don't like how much makeup they put on me." I said looking down about to wipe it off when Jack stopped me.

"Hey, don't wipe it off till we're in the bus they're still watching us." I looked over to see them peeping behind another bus. We walked in Jack sat down on the couch with Alex and Zach.

"Hey Madi!!" Alex said waving at me. I waved back with a smile. Him and Zach went to talking about the Ravens.

I went to the bathroom, but I ran into Rian. "Sorry." I said walking past him.

"Who's that chick?" I heard him say, I didn't get to hear what Jack or Alex was going to say because I got into the bathroom. Once I was in it I washed everything off and reapplied with mascara and eyeliner. I got out and grabbed my phone. I was looking for my vans when I saw Jack holding them in front of me. "We should talk. Wanna go on a walk around the venue?" Jack asked me, and I nodded taking the shoes. I slipped them on running after him, saying bye to the guys. Once we were out of the bus Jack took my hand. I looked down at it and smiled. Jack noticed.

"Madi?"

"Yeah?" I said looking at his coco brown eyes.

"What are we?"

"Humans" I said with a grin. He looked at me like I was crazy and my grin disappeared.

"No I mean you and I." He said.
