There was a rush of people after All Time Low’s set. We probably sold almost all of the merch. More people went up to me asking if I had saved Jack’s life. I would say ‘Kind of’ and they would walk away. Some would be mad like I should have died or that Jack should have. Which I think is weird if they’re over here to buy the band’s merch. Jack and they guys walked over to talk to the fans. Jack walked over to me after a little bit.

“Hey Madi, enjoy selling stuff and shit?” He said kissing my nose, with the whole crowd awing.

“Yes I did.” I said smiling kissing his nose shyly. The crowd went crazy with a few boos. I tried to put it behind me. “Did you have fun playing that guitar and shit?”

“Sure did boob!” The crowed laughed and went to other people as another band went up to play. Jack and the guys decided to stay at the tent to talk to the fans and sign their things.

“Is it true you two are dating?” a boy around 20 with blond hair and a Peirce The Veil shirt and jeans asked Jack. He was very familiar.

“Yes it is.” Jack said grabbing my hand as I handed someone their shirt. I looked over at him and smiled. “She’s my bitch.”

“I’m his bitch.” I said as the boy laughed.

“Can you sing or play an instrument?” he asked me.

“Kinda.”

“Play something please please!!” He sounded very interested.

“I don’t have a guitar and I don’t know what song to sing.” I don’t want to sing or play anything but this boy seemed to really like the fact that Jack and me were in a relationship.

“Here.” Alex handed me a black guitar and pic. I took it from him and put the strap around my head.

“What song do I play?” I said looking at the people around me.

“The Only Exception by Paramore!!” the boy yelled. He seemed like he planed this whole conversation out in his head because he said that song as fast as light. I nodded and started playing.

“When I was younger

I saw my daddy cry

And curse at the wind

He broke his own heart

And I watched

As he tried to reassemble it

And my momma swore that

She would never let herself forget

And that was the day that I promised

I'd never sing of love

If it does not exist

But darlin'

You, are, the only exception

You, are, the only exception

You, are, the only exception

You, are, the only exception

Maybe I know, somewhere

Deep in my soul

That love never lasts

And we've got to find other ways

To make it alone

But keep a straight face

And I've always lived like this

Keeping a comfortable, distance
