The Clock Master (OC X Loki)

But why?

"Why would you do that Clint!" she shouted at him "Keep your voice down would you, I did it  because he dangerous and destroyed all of New York and killed dozens of people." he said stopping us in the hallway and grabbing my shoulders "As a new member you don't know him like the rest of us do, if you don't agree with me go ask his brother Thor" He said before continuing to walk. He walked me to my room and told me to stay there. "Where else would I go, I don't know my way around the tower and would probably get lost." He chuckled at my response "You know what I mean, just don't try to run away or anything" After that he walked away to his own room I assumed.

The books were not outside my room as she was told they would be which confused her. She stayed up for a while thinking that maybe he just wasn't able to get to her room or not know where it was, but only a few minutes before she was about to go to bed she heard a knock on her door. "Yes?" she said opening the door. "Hello Kate" Loki said holding some books out. Her eyes visibly lit up. "Thank you." She said as she took them from his, there was at least 4 books. "sorry about Clint earlier, I don't know what his problem was." She said as she walked away from the door for a second to set down the books before returning to the door. "Its perfectly fine Kate he has all reason to want to keep you away from me" He said with slight smile. "I don't believe him, for all he knows you've changed tons from what you once were." She said smiling. "Thank you Kate, I must be going you back to my room now I wish you a good day" He said walking from my room to his room, which turns out is right down the hall from mine. I closed my door and went to put the books he gave me away on a small shelf before going to bed.

Morning

I woke up to the bright light of the morning sun outside, i buried my self further into my blanket trying to block out the light. I slowly felt myself start falling back asleep and going back to my dream.

KNOCK KNOCK

I groaned and glared at my door hoping whoever was on the other side would feel my wrath and go away but, to my dismay they did not and kept knocking. I sighed, getting up I made sure I looked decent before going to the door and basically ripping it open. "What the hell do you want" I grumbled tiredly.

"Good morning to you too Kate" I heard Steve say with a chuckle. "Why are you waking me up right now? What time is it anyway?" I asked irritated. "Its 11 in the morning Kate" He said laughing again. "And Tony requested you downstairs and told me to come get you." He said when he was done with his fit of laughter. "Ok give me a sec" I said closing the door and putting on actual clothes before walking to the door again. I opened the door only to see Loki and not Steve.

I looked around the hallway confused. "What happened to Steve, he was just out here?" she asked him curiously. "He asked me to walk you downstairs" He said curtly

Time skip

I sat down on the couch in the living area along with everybody else kinda confused at what was going on. Tony stepped up to the front of the room "Tonight everybody I will be having a party, in honor of out new member" He announced quickly.

Every body looked at me. "Tony is this really necessary?" Nat asked the millionaire. "Of course it is, we don't just accept everybody into the avengers if we get a new member there should be a celebration." He said proudly. He looked at me almost as if he wanted me to back him up. "I guess your right" I mumbled quietly

He gave me a kind smile before turning to the rest of the group "Its decided then, everybody dress your best tonight K" He said before walking off. Today was going to be a long day.

When I got back to my room i saw a note and a card on my bed. I walked over grabbing the note first.

Dear Kate,
As you know tonight is the party and I want you to take this card and just go have fun today. Get your hair done or, your nails done or, whatever just go have fun.

I smiled at the note fondly before putting it down and leaving the card where it was. I walked over to the closet and opened the doors to see some pretty fancy stuff. I gaped at the closet, 'when did all this get here'

I looked around and grabbed the most simple thing in there, a t-shirt and jeans along with a simple pair of converse that were oddly my size. I walked back to the bed and grabbed the card putting it in my back pocket before walking out.

I wasn't paying attention to where i was going and ran into some one, at least I think it was a person. I looked up and saw it was Loki. "Oh, Im  sorry I wasn't looking where I was going" I said frantically while getting up. "no, its fine Kate" He looked me over "Your going somewhere?" He asked raising his eyebrows.

"Yeah Tony is throwing a party tonight and left a card on my bed and told me to go have fun today." I said getting the card out of my back pocket and showing it to him. "I see, well I hope you have fun Kate." He told me before continuing walking down the hallway.

I continued on my way down the hallway smiling happily. I found Tony in his Lab and gave him a thank you hug before leaving.
