The Clock Master (OC X Loki)

"Care to Dance my lady?"

~Guess who isn't dead!!! Me and i'm back to writing again, you have no idea how much ive missed it~

Loki's POV:

"I can't believe Thor is making me go to this party..." I muttered as I rubbed my wrist where the bracelets had been less than a hour ago, Thor convinced Stark to take them off during the party.
I sighed as fixed my hair, <At lest I get to see Kate again> she was the only person in the damned tower I saw as a equal. She didn't treat me like a monster regardless of what I had done.

<I wonder if I should bring her more books, I'll have to see> I thought as I looked at my bookshelf. It had plenty of books filled from the bottom to the top. Some were books from the royal library at asgard, and some had been brought to me by stark from his personal library.

I looked through the books thinking about which ones she would like. Since her room was across the hallway from mine I would just drop them off on my way to the party. 'Where did Thor say the party was again' I thought to myself.

"Eh, I'll ask Kate since I'm sure if I'm being forced to go she is aswell" I thought aloud
I looked myself over in the mirror one last time before deciding I was ready

I looked at the time and debated leaving now or later but eventually ended up with the decision of leaving now and seeing if Kate was in her room. I put on my best smile before stepping out of my room and walking to the door opposite of mine.  I knocked "Kate?" I said

"just a second!" She yelled from inside and few moments later she opened the door and smiled at me "hello Loki!" She said. I looked her up and down and was just simply in awe of her beauty. "You look wonderful" I said

She blushed slightly and looked away "Thank you, you look wonderful aswell..." She said. I smiled at her flustered expression. "Would you like to accompany me to the party?" I asked her.

She looked up "really?" She said almost in disbelief "I would love to!" She said smiling happily. "Although I don't think anyone will be too happy with it I doubt they will cause a big fuss" she said as she quickly grabbed her bag and then came back to the door. She stepped out and closed it behind her "but I'm willing to deal with those consequences" she said smiling happily.
I chuckled and then offered my arm to her "well then we should get going I don't like to be late to parties" I said

She blushed before looping her arm with his and they started walking. I walked with her along to the main room. Thor had found us and had offered to lead them to the party since neither of them actually knew where it was. Soon they arrived at the party on the top floor. Kate gently flattened her dress down and let out a sigh "I've never been to this kind of party before" he said "I truthfully dont even know how to dance" she said with a somewhat nervous tone to her voice.

"Maybe I could teach you how to dance?" I offered "I've been to plenty formal balls on my mother's behalf" I said "so if you would let me I can help you through this" I offered and kissed her hand while doing a poliet bow like I had been raised and taught to do.

She blushed and looked away like she had earlier and I actually considered it rather adorable. "t-that would be nice" she stuttered out softly. She looked back at me with doe like eyes and a kind smile

   I smiled and pulled her towards me, placing my hand on her waist the other holding her other hand. "Let me lead and follow my footsteps" I told her. I took a step back, then to the side the forward again spinning slightly as I did so.

Her hands grasped my shoulders in a firm grip as she focused on not stepping on my feet or tripping and falling. "Ok so this isn't as hard as I thought it was" she said as she looked up from her feet.
    "Is it now?" I said to her, smiling I continued to lead her through the dance untill the song was over. I removed my hands from her and bowed polietly "that was a excellent dance my lady. Maybe you would like to join me for another one soon?" I asked.

"Sure! Let's get a drink first though, I'm thirsty" said said sheepishly.
