"You should have woooonnnnnn!" Mina cried out, shaking your arms which made your body rock back and forwards, your hair moving as well.
"No. Bakugou won fair and square." You grabbed her arms and stopped her, smiling to reassure your point.
"No he didn't!" She smushed her eyes closed and shook her head rapidly. "You got him out of bounds first!"
"I- no I didn't." You stated, the some of your classmates listening in as well, since they were just as curious. "I passed out before he went over." You mumbled, slightly embarrassed.
"Why did you even pass out?" Kirishima asked from his desk.
"Because I used a part of my quirk that I can't really control yet.." you scratched the back of your neck awkwardly.
"And that is?" Mina urged you to explain.
"Telepathy.." You mumbled, everyone's eyes shooting wide open.
"What!" Mina grabbed you and started shaking your body back and forth again. "You can control minds too?! That's not fair, why do you get such a badass quirk?!"
"Yeah well it's not that badass if I pass out every time I use it." You huffed. "The sports festival was only my second time."
"When was the first?" Kaminari joined in the conversation.
You snickered to yourself. "My foster brother, Nao, stole the last pop tart..." you began laughing to yourself. "So I accidentally mind controlled him into giving it back, which he did, but I had already passed out and he ate it afterwards anyway."
"Wait really?" Mina laughed.
"Yeah." You snickered. "And he didn't even care that I was knocked out on the floor."
They chuckled along after your little story, the rest of your classmates arriving for lesson gradually.
You noticed Todoroki walk in, you immediately sharing a big smile to him and waving as he went and sat down at his desk next to you, returning with a nod, his usual plain expression.
"How are you feeling?" He questioned, referring to your injuries at the sports festival.
"I'm all good." You responded. "It was a tough fight."
"You fought well." He said monotonously. "I think you should have won."
"That's what I said!" Mina turned around and yelled to the back of the classroom to the both of you, it making you shake your head and chuckle.
"Nah. I took a risk and that was my own fault." You shrugged. "So losing was just a result of it."
The two had no opportunity to argue back with you as Aizawa had walked in to start his lesson. He congratulated everyone on their performances in the sports festival, then going on to explain that heroes watching are wanting or willing to recruit students to do hero work studies with them.
