Chapter 4

Lissana POV:I sigh and look at the watch Natsu gave me. It was so pretty. Sadly I can't except it. I slowly look and sigh. Tears start to form in my eyes. "I'm sorry Natsu. I can't be your girlfriend because I'm already dating Freed." I hand him back his watch. I turn around and start to walk away. I hear a thump and look back to see Natsu on his hands and knees. A tear slips my eye but I keep on walking forward. I do admit that I used to like Natsu but times have changed. I just...I just can't date him. I sigh and walk home to see Mira cooking and Elfman watching tv. I go straight to my room and curl up on my bed. I think back to what I saw on Natsu's face. I feel bad but I can't go back on my decision. Not then and definitely not now. I slowly close my eyes to think back to when I was little. I had to go back to when things were easier. I want to go back to where I did like Natsu. I want to go back to when I met her. I want to see my best friend again. I want to see Lucy.

7 year old Lissana POVI sneak into Lucy's room. She's still sleeping and Levy already left to go to the library. It is already 9:30. I smile and jump right on top of Lucy. I hear an "umph" and I laugh. "Come on sleepyhead!! It is already 9:30! Everybody is already gone." A little blond head pops out from under the covers. Lucy frowns and pokes me in the stomach. "Well I'm sorry if I'm sleepy! I was up all night reading that book you gave me!" I start to squeal. "What part are you on? How do you like it? I have the second one ready once you finished reading it." She sighs and smiles at me. "I already finished it! And I love it!! It was waaaay better than that Twilight book you made me read." She smiles at me and pushes me off of her. I laugh and head towards the door. "Hurry up breakfast is going to be served soon. I will grab the second book and give it to you then! Ok?" She smiles and gets out of bed. "Okay." I walk to my room but stop hearing some fighting. I walk up to the railing and look down to see Natsu and Gray at it again. I yell," Can you guys ever get along? You don't want me to go get Erza do you?" Natsu and Gray stop immediately and look up at me. "Oh! Morning Lissasana....uh can you like not get Erza...you know cus..ummm..." Gray trails off and looks at me nervously. "Yeah! Lissana please don't tell Erza. She will kill us if she finds out we were fighting again!" Natsu looks up at me with puppy dog eyes. I sigh and place a hand on my forehead. "Okay just this once but now you guys owe me a favor!" Natsu and Gray look at each other. "Uh what is it?" Gray asked. I smirk. "You know just a little prank I wanna pull on Lucy. You guys in?" Gray nods and Natsu laughs a little bit. "What did Lucy do to make you want to prank her?" Gray asks. I frown a little. "She took my big chocolate bar and ate it!" Gray raises an eyebrow but doesn't say anything. Natsu is still laughing and I smile. Lucy will forgive me! She is the one at fault. I smile and walk to my room thinking of a good way to prank her. Hey what are best friends for? I laugh and go and get the book I wanted her to read.Later that dayI walk up to Lucy and her the book. "Lucy?", I look at her with innocent eyes. "Yes?" She smiles at me. "Did you eat my big chocolate bar on Monday?"She stops smiling and gives me an awkward half smile. "Well...umm...you see. I sorta ateHALF of it and gave the other half to Levy. We didn't think you would mind...um...I can get you a different one." I smile at her. "It's all good don't worry about it!" I smile and start to get some breakfast. Lucy starts to follow me but I stop her. "Hey I will get your breakfast just go and save us a seat. Okay?" She smile at me. "Okay!" She skips over to Natsu and Gray. I smile and go and get our breakfast. Knowing how Lucy hates spicy food I grab some hot sauce and put some in her oatmeal and the strawberry jam she loves. I bring over food and I hand Lucy her breakfast. She smiles at me and starts to spread the strawberry jam on her toast. I look at Gray and nod. Understanding the plan he shoves Natsu spilling all the milk. "Oi flamebrain! Don't kick me! That was the fifth time!" Natsu smiles and takes some water and splashes it on Gray. "Shut up Ice cube. Cool down and have some water!" He smirks and puts down the glass. I look over at Lucy to see her face turning bright red. "What's wrong Lucy?" I ask."HOT! HOT!! HOT!! MY MOUTH IS ON FIRE!! WATER I BEED SOME WATER!!" I smile and grab a glass of water. "You want this?" I smile holding out the glass of water. She nods her head really fast. I simply smile and say. "Repeat after me. I Lucy Heartifillia hearby promise.To never steal Lissana's chocolate ever again." She repeats after me. And I hand her the glass of water. She smiles drinking it all. "Lissana I said I was sorry!!" She pouted and I laugh at her. "Hey I wanted to split the chocolate bar with you but you took it! It's all good now though!" I laughs and give her a hug. "What are best friends for?" She smiles and hugs me back. I glance over to see a blushing Natsu and a smirking Gray. What's going on there? And why is my heart beating really hard. I let go of Lucy and finish my breakfast. What is going on with me?

Natsu's POV:I look at Lissana's leaving figure. I can't believe it. She rejected me. She rejected me for Freed. Out of all people why Freed? I sigh and slowly get up and start to walk home. I kept on staring at the ground. 'I was rejected. My heart is shattered and I can't do anything about it. When did she start dating Freed? She didn't even look sad! I bet you she is laughing at me right now!' All those things kept going around and around my head. I bumped into someone falling. I look up to say sorry but see the girl from before. She is also on the ground,again, covered in snow,again. Man she is clumsy or it's just me. Eh probably both. I stand up and look at her. "Sorry about that. You okay?" She looks up at me with big brown eyes. "Yeah I'm fine." I help her up. "What's your name?" She looks at me. I see hurt in her eyes. "Lucy.Lucy Heartifilia" after that she walks away leaving me wondering. Where have I heard that name before. It sounds so familiar. I walk home thinking about that girl name Lucy. Why does her name squeeze my heart? It seems so familiar.

Lucy POV: I really need to stop bumping into HIM! It hurts me every time. He doesn't even remembers my name. I bet he doesn't even remember me. I sigh. I miss all my friends. Was Virgo right? I seriously doubt that because all of them forgot me. Maybe it's because I been gone to long. I'm not sure anymore. I miss them. I want them to remember. I want them to remember me.
